my 1st impression on understanding the device? good work GSMArena in giving detailed information on this device! Nokia you are indeed back in game and will beat everybody... was this feeling permanent? not really! these are things which were easily noticeable, hence easily commented:
1) looks: definitely not premium... if Nokia calls it N8 successor, then the looks dept. should have given it similar looks if not better... my opinion? it sucks! Red is interesting though!
2) screen resolution? what is Nokia thinking? 3) battery? what is Nokia thinking? 4) Call management > Contacts > Detailed contact information... if it is the same as the one on Belle, then sorry boss, even my Samsung E2232 DUOS has better management of contacts and call log features (where can you find up to 7 features under Call Logs?) 5) no camera shutter? should i go for N9 or 808... ummmm... thinking...

Nokia is the world's leading supplier of mobile phones and digital cameras (as most of Nokia's mobile telephones feature digital cameras, making it the largest camera producer in the world)and primary consumer of carl zeiss lens. The 41mp sensor on the pureview was co developed by nokia. So nokia knows imaging.. it has a dedicated image processor along side the sensor.... so it is fast.... every other element of the camera is also improved... its got mechanical shutters, a five element lens xenon twice powerfull than that in the n8.. a led flash for video capturing... So it is absolutely a great innovation... And what people think is why do u need a 41mp sensor on a phone... its all about how u use it.. to get very good pictures.. and the phone itself would compress the photos for uploading or email applications... know ur facts ppl... dont just bash nokia...

Sounds like Nokia just made an ostentatious move with this superior camera/video/smart phone, now get me a phone with a keyboard or the N950 with 12mp

It may be a good phone(i like Nokia and i still have my N900),but,look at the ppi density...184! My n900 has 267 ppi and was built in 2009!The iphone 4/4s has 330 ppi and still the best in resolution...Now i'm using an HTC Vivid with 4.5" screen and 245 ppi witch is a great phone with great hardware...Nokia are still good phones, but to pricey for the capabilities and limited in applications compares with Android market or AppStore.I'm still waiting for something unique from Nokia...

Terrible screen resolution, crappy ppi, bulky, over-praised camera sensor, etc...

cnet says 808 pictures are mindless and you'll be able to see unbelieveable details by zoomin pictures.no doubt that 808 is phone of this decade or perhaps century.
