all android fans are bragging their dual-core/quad-core android phone, which they think its better in all aspect... Then bout battery issue, oh my, my android phone don't even give my needs to back up heavy internet usage using edge/3g/hsdpa... Its not all about fancy ui, its all about what gives you satisfaction... Haha android users need to buy a car battery and put it in their back packs when they are away from a charger...

> In reply to deVmisra @ 2012-03-26 22:02 from rxhh - click to readandroid requires quad core because android is not as efficient as symbian and for battery life android is power hungry too as it is pretty new os as compared to symbian and also droid manufacturers are not up to the mark to nokia quality and last thing - bigger processors uses more power to run. thats why droids comes with bigger processor and battery.

> In reply to Zelator @ 2012-03-26 16:57 from pr3s - click to readare you thinking that dual core droids are 2 times faster than symbian 1ghz or 1.3 ghz. let me know you real story, symbian uses way less resourses than android and 1.3 ghz cpu on nokia 808 can perform same like dual core droids. 1080p hd video recording on single core cpu on symbian can tell all the story, it is not possible with android or ios or any other os on market right now.

A worst thinking by Nokia Development team...

(1.) Market is nearly ready with the Quad core processor loaded devices and still Nokia development is satisfied with single core device.. Should have come up with at least dual core processor inside..

(2.) Battery is the bigger concern now when it is acclaimed of having a 41 MP camera with a Good flash.. It seems that they have provided a powerful camera with a less battery.. So the user will be ending up with a less number of shots..

(3.) The thinking of market competition without a powerful OS is agreed loss for the Company.. Why was windows OS dropped in this cell..

(4.) It lacks a powerful GPU also..

> In reply to TDi @ 2012-03-26 21:31 from nF72 - click to readstock camera software does not support panorama, but there are apps in nokia store that can do that. About youtube videos, symbian has flash player in the browser, i can view any video on my C7, what are you talking about? Did you try symbian?

> In reply to WEZANGO @ 2012-03-26 19:09 from n4RQ - click to readyou mean that galaxy camera is good? Then think again, have you ever transfer the picture into the pc? It look like trash.. It only good in the phone because of the phone screen resolution and amoled screen.. Do you know nokia n8? That's it nokia's 808 predessor.. Even with 12mp, it blow all the cameraphone and compact camera including samsung galaxy, iphone and SE Experia S.. And one of the profesional photographer(i forgot his name) claim is as the best cameraphone in the WORLD.. you wanna know what special with it.. It has ND filter..it takes picture natural contrast.. And it takes a very good picture even in low light..sure your galaxy nice in oversatured..but it very poor in low light., sound pretty good? It already hit the market 2 years ago.. And this phone, 808 much2 better than n8..
