Good value for money phone. One of the lightest phones around its compact, easy to carry around anduse. Menus are easy to scroll through and has sufficient memory and all the normally required features.

I am from Australia and have had My Nokia 8210 for 3 and a bit years now. it is the best phone i have ever had. i have dropped it like 12 times and it still works fine. its one of the best looking phones around and by far the lightest nokia. I also think that the menu and features are easy to access and use. This is one of the best Nokia's available, i would recommend it ! Cheers all.

I owned a Nokia 8210 (...sorry 4 Nokia 8210s) before I got my latest phones (Siemens C45 and then Siemens S55).
The 8210 has a very beautiful design and you can get attached to it. So much so that you forgive it when it misbehaves (cutting you off in the middle of conversation). This is why I had to change mine 3 times and they all gave me the same problems.
Now I can see the difference. With Siemens you never get cut off. Having hour long conversations is trouble-free with Siemens, while impossible with Nokia 8210. Sorry Nokia , but you knew it all along. That is why all shops have taken it off the shelves.

I am thinking about upgrading my phone and have been reading reviews but am now having second thoughts as no phone seems to have as many positive remarks as the 8210. I've had the 8210 for a year now and have only had one problem which was fixed through my insurance and has been fine since. Great design, easy to use and light. Am thinking the new technology is too flashy and not user friendly. Would highly recommend this model.

I've installed a better function of 8250 in my nicer 8210's body. It's now become the most perfect mobile phone I've ever had.

I've mixed feelings with my 8210. I already have it for 3 years : menu is what's Nokia is al about. Plain, simple and intuitive. The phone is stylish, light, and still looks fine, but problem of all : it's damn fragile. The screen has a life on it's own, and you'll easily need to fix it, which doesn't makes it the most economical gsm ever. Battery life sucks cause you'll need to charge after 2 days of normal use. I'm searching for a new mobile which is as simple as a Nokia, but gives me the reliability of a Honda VTEC engine.... any suggestions?

If you've never listened to anything in your life...Listen to ME NOW~ DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! it is the worst phone I've ever had! It is a peice of plastic. I don't know how NOKIA thought they could charge $150 on the crappy phone...I'm sooooo glad I got Insurance on the thing... the phone I have now is the 5th one I've had to send my phone in 5 times within the 2 years I've had it. If you MUST get this phone PLEASE PLEASE get insurance on it. trust me.... You WILL drop it and it WILL break! It WILL cut out on you and you'll want to send it back to get a new one!! trust me!! I've done it 5 times... now I'm tired of doing it... I HATE NOKIA! their famous for making plastic phones! their crap go get something better! that costs less! like a kyocera, or samsung... their both REALLY good I've heard... or if you drop your phone a lot get a moterola I hear they never break. thats why all the construction guys have them! :) have fun,,, just don't get this phone!! PLEASE!
