I've just asked my uncle to buy this fone for me in Singapore. Opened it and sorted everything out, and then i read this thing about upgrading software 'cos the version i have keeps on hanging. What an arse!

Yeah just sent my 8250 in for upgrading for the *send feature said would take 4-5 days. Just bought this phone more than a week ago. stinks for the price that i have paid. Should let us exchange the phone for a new one for free.

Just bought the Nokia 8250 a month ago and l need to bring it for upgrading because it does not have the new software for me to use singtel's new *send feature. it's so embrassing that a brand new state of the art phone does not even contain the software that is present in an old 8210, 3310. Wonder what other software is missing in another month's time.

hi, the phone looks cool. wondering whether I could import one to the UK from Asia. How much would this be in pounds sterling. would i be able to use the phone in england and can i use my existing acp-7 charger to charge the phone.

They got released in Australia last week and what we get the UK normally gets 2. So I guess you'll get it soon. The cost here is $AU900.
It comes with the same games that the 8210 does. No WAP. No MP3. But it does come with 'composer' which the 8210 didn't. But how much better does it look? Sick.
