haha. true, ture. i had this phone with me for a LONG LONG time which i couldn't even remember, okay..maybe 2002 till now..i've kept it as a spare since my bro-in-law gave me a panasoic x500(with colour, camera etc), a sliding and high-class looking phone. But soon after, TODAY, the panasonic broke my heart! i was feeling odd not to receive any sms the entire afternoon and decided to send someone an sms, but i found out that it took forever to send!(which means cannot send la) and then i tried to call the person, cannot call! i tried several other people including my house phone and i am 100% my panasonic broke down! THANK GOODNESS this 8250, which ive kept in my drawer saved my life and i am now happy that i've not thrown it away...

IT IS ONE OF THE MOST DURABLE PHONES I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. YOU CAN GO DO THOSE THINGS TO YOUR 3G PHONE LIKE DROPPING IN INTO POOL/MUD/2 STOREYS HIGH. YOU CAN WAIT TO COUNT HOW MANY PIECES OF SPARE PARTS YOU ARE LEFT WITH SO THAT YOU CAN SELL THEM TO THAT 2ND HAND SHOP DOWN THE ROAD.(i bet you wouldn't dare anyway)

haha. hope you guys find this interesting. rock on! cheers :P

This phone is amazing. i've had it for about 5 years now, and so far it has survived being left in the fridge, dropped into puddles, and being thrown down from the 2nd floor. i have never had any problems with this phone, and never had to change any parts. the dream phone for a clumsy person!

I LOVE this phone. had it for 4 years now. it was been dropped into a pool, into mud and into a cup of tea and is still working after some drying off. such a great durable light phone for a clumsy person like me. i just need a new cover but not many places are producing new covers for this nokia model.

GREAT PHONE GUYZ!!

I have the Nokia 8250 it is great I have had mine for almost 5 years; I just brought a new battery for it...

What I love the most is the size as I can take it any where and its small enough to wear around my neck and because of the size don't even remember it's there... And doesn’t hurt my neck or get in the way…

And I can't believe how easy it is to send SMS even though the buttons are small they aren't too small where you push 2 buttons at once... like the Panasonic GD55 very hard to write SMS

If anyone wants to buy one or is looking for housing or other things for their mobile check out www.ebay.com

GREAT PHONE!!

~*~ I LOVE IT~*~

I'll love this phone. Easy, tuff, stable, small and etc. When I buy on 2001 the price around RM1300++. I use 5 years, only 1 time change the battery but now already missing.
I've really love the phone.

Very reliable indeed. Have this phone for over 3 years now and it never let me down. It even had been in the laundry once, but after drying it, it still works perfectly.

The 8250 is a great phone; very reliable. Mine's 3 years old, and still works perfectly. The only problem is that the silver paint is flaking off.

No fancy schmancy GPRS/Bluetooth/Polyphonic stuff, but who needs it? It's a phone, for Elvis' sake!

senthil.

at the time when this hand set came out it was the best nokia handset, nopt only it was the same size as the 8210, but it also had composer, the with the electric blue light it looked really good on a night when it is ringing.

fine compared to the new handset of today it is not all that but of its time it was the best.

To Pritish
The Nokia 8250 is 5 years old alreadly. So are you only 5 years old? Anyway i agree with you that Nokia 8250 is the best & durable phone ever made.
I hope that Nokia company will launched new Nokia 8250i with colour screen, MP3, GPRS, fm radio, Bluetooth, video recording, EDGE and other great features.
