this phone i think is very nice with the stainless steel and the scratch resistance glass, i think that you should give it a try. Oh by the way, a guy at the email address of weihawuk@mail.com is selling them cheap. Thats where i think im gonna get mine. At least think so. THAT WAS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT

I'm a big fan of the 8850, 8910i and as i've owned all these phones i can't wait for the 8800 to be released in the uk. It's a real prestige phone, worth every penny and if its as good as my old 8910i i'll be purchasing one as soon as its in store. It's a phone which gets people attention and everyone is going to want one. As with the older models they will be in much demand.

Nokia 8800:
Model looks good. Had a chance to hold this phone. It weights 135gms. pretty heavy but full steel. Looks great. It is a ball slide unlike the click and jump you see in the 8910i
A real premium phone from Nokia. Will cost too much, I guess

You'd be better off with a Motorola V3, far more luxurious than this

I not like this phone as it reminds me of a samsung phone where the top slides up it should be the bottom like the rest of the 8000 series. Also i think nokia should re-release the nokia 8850 and call it nokia 8850i than nokia would pick up more sales as most of their new designs dont look good. And as for ebay buyers it could be a trap as its not offically out and I wouldnt want to buy something second hand I rather say i got it brand new in a respectable shop. I think that I will stick to my nokia 8910i for now.

Some are complaining about the lack of features, but that's never been what the 8xxx series has been about.

This phone looks like it'll be a winner, though I wished it looked more like the 8850 than the original 8800.
