not to mention a bigger screen like a 320 240...also it is very expensive .. i like that but for what? really! did 8910i rally had pure titanium case? i don't really think so(a type of alloy) whas it bullet proof? too much money spent and for no reason.. people will see you rich if you buy this phone but you cannot even take good pictures and for a phone that costs so much ...svga... :(

kyzer ... this phone is for... witch date fine women.. yeah but it's nice to take their picture with a 5mpx cam like sam p860... these are heavyweight phones .. if sam had steel case it would be nice too... i don't raly like this phone because it should have a 1.3 cam at least with AUTO FOCUS

I'm sure High-class ppol hav brain. & ppol w/ brain prefer to have a functional mobile gadget. Why would u spend ur money over a costy phone that lacks some features & pay only for its look? I mean, I'd rather get a more functional phone than this new 8800. Try 2 consider SE K750i. It's equipped w/ cutting-edge mobile features & cool design. Choose ur fone wisely ppol...

yea guyz you have just managed to describe nokias marketing strat for the 8 series....
what you are saying is exactly what nokia have sold for the 8 series...
all i can say is like all nokias they have elected form over function... the only thing nokia has going for them atm is ptt handsets which is the next big evolution, clever marketting that they have tried to push this onto all their handsets...
8 series are jokes if you willing to put the money in you should go 9 series as these phones actually have form and function
nokia handset= average nokia marketing = top of their game

Warning - This phone is not designed to attract people who buy phones for the size of its camera lens. It is designed for people who drive a fine car, drink fine wine, date fine women - it is for people who have taste for classy things in life. This phone is bought for it's appearance, class and style. People who appreciate and buy this phone do not care about the size of the camera, it's like saying a 'Rolex' does not have an alarm and a 'Casio' can measure longitude, latitude, altitude, temperature, air pressure and a few other features - 2 different leagues

As a loyal 8910i user i am extremely dissapointed. This phone is CRAP,plain and simple. Lousy features, apalling 'Michael Jackson esque' style and a price that would make bill gates think twice.
I don't know what nokia were thinking when they created this dinosaur because this is without doubt the WORST phone they have ever made.

Nokia is trying to blind everyone with words like "stainless steel" "high end" and yet they put in features which is available to any low-end phones such as the 3*** series. Heck even the Nokia 3230 has a 1.3MP camera feature and it's lighter than the Nokia 8800. Nokia screwed up big time again

I have always been a Nokia 88** series fan. Sadly this Nokia 8800 is just pure crap. What's with the SVGA 0.5MP camera? For a high end phone, the features Nokia put into it is nominal. In term of looks, i still find my old Nokia 8850 more stylish. One would easily find the statements in the press release a total bullsh*t. And who gives a damn what Ryuichi Sakamoto puts what tones into the phone. I expected a better phone to replace the Nokia 8850 but i am sorely disappointed by this.
