I have bought an extended life battery (1000 MAH) from mobile fun via the internet. The phone performs much better. I guarantee every one will be satisfied with the results. Try it everyone! Still have my 8800 (mint condition) best looking mobile ever. Beats the 8800 Arte anyday.

battery talk time up to 3h? sorry, but that`s not true. i have a 8800 and i am sure that nobody ever got to talk more than 40 minutes. i really like this mobile, but the only problem i have is the battery.it just goes off anytime with full battery. on stand by no more than 1 day, and talk time no more than 40 minutes.and this is the truth:)

Anyone notice this phone is in every other big movie that comes out. The ones I can remember are The Dark Knight, Wanted, Body Of Lies, Crank and a ton more I just can't remember at the top of my head.

This page said the color that available was silver and black(for russian market). How about the gold one ? Is it original ? Anyone can help me ?

Battery can last up to a day only.

My LCD and flex were destroyed. How can I replace it? I inquired but its so expensive. The price of the LCD is as expensive as a brand new phone. Comments on these please...
Will I have this repaired or buy another phone?

good looking phone.. could be more thinier,now is fashion thin phones.. i prefer 8800 type of phone more then brick like n95.. but it isn't perfekt. cuz if i wanna buisnes phone i just wanna good looking phone with strong battery... battery is most imoportnant stuff i looking when buying phone.. it must least 2-3-4days, not just one day.. phones that you must fill every day is just crap.. nokia make better batteries.. look at s.e.

The click sound of closing the cover is the best thing about this phone!! No other 8 series has the same sound!!!!!!!

In nokia's official site there is no ifnormation about colors for 8800. But there are 3 color options for Sirocco. So i think Black 8800 and other colorfull versions are just NOT Nokia made. Does someone agree with me? Also i think it is more beautifull than Sirocco an of course than Arte.

i had this phone before and the battery is pathetic!! if you are going to buy this phone,dont waste your time,as you will encounter endless problems. the styling is really beautiful but you will end up paying much more to repair the phone than to buy it. and my friend had the exact same phone btw...

Hei, i am quiet shocked to use nokia 8801, i am from bangladesh. my cell phone having band-width problem.. it cant run smoothly with the sim i use. network goes up and down. can any one tell me where can i fix this shityyy problemm..other than that...there is no doubt that, this is a handsome beast...

But after changing it to the sirocco batt, all is good and im going to use this phone for a super long time =)

the phone is so luxurious ive been using it for almost 3 years now its been the most perfect phone ever. its just like having a rolls royce classic in your hand. looks perfect for a man who does not need any gadgets just the essence of style of communicating. this is the coolest nokia 8 series you just cant compare a nokia 8800 classic to the new 8800 sapphire arte its just like comparing a classic rolls royce to the latest mercedes benz sclass the 2 are for luxury but one really makes a statement...

I just got the Nokia 8801 unlocked, 2 weeks ago. I'm haveing a hard time setting up the configuration for the MMS. Is this a recurring problem with this phone? Sad part about it is I work as a sales Rep for the service provider I'm trying to set the phone up with. Thanks
