i just got mine three days ago and i like the brand. but my only problem is that i can't communicate it with my PC.though i've the software installed and a bluetooth device connected to the PC and also picks the phone when bluetooth is turn on.the Nokia PC Suite also picks the phone status at the drag n drop portion, but gives error that; (could not connect to the phone)when i click the file management key.i love NOKIA so please help me enjoy this brand.thanks

the life of battery for this phone is very short, it needs to buy another battery, this will resolve the problem

im having a problem with mine just got a brand new one and everynow and then it just goes blank and i have to open it and close it to bring the screen on..even happens during calls very annoying any suggestions

i dont know everyone complains about battery life..i bought one just cause its my favourite phone and i charge it once and it lasts all day and i talk a lot on it

Nice looking, highly priced. I got this phone because it looked hot and I saw that P.Diddy had it in one of his film clips. Small problems like the buttons being too small, and the battery life is way too short. Enjoyed it for the duration of the contract but I think its time to move on...

great phone. Had a deam that the N95 comes in the 8800 cover. The world was so perfect...I wish that were possible. I would pay a thousand dollars for such an innovation

Wow! thanks so much for the information... I hope i should have read your post earlier :( Just got a new just yestrday .. Encountered the same problem. I was hoping to charge it once a day, but it seems like it'll take me thrice.

Hi! How long is the battery life? I have one it lasts for about 5 hours... im not sure if the battery life is just that fast or i may have to replace the battery. Kindly help :)

For e'one with volume problem, the soln is very easy. Nokia 8800's speaker is on the upper rt corner of the phone,it's not in the middle cause the camera located at the upper lt. Thus if you place it on ur lt ear,the phone has to be backward to get close to rt corner. On the opposite, if u place it on ur rt ear, place in forward. It's goona b OK now.

I have had this phone for a couple of years and I love it - it may not suit everybody, as it does not have a lot of features, but it enables me to do what I need to do FAST and FAILSAFE! There is no waiting for screens and lack of keystroke catch-up that you have with the N series phones. But now my battery life is almost nil. Is there any other phone which operates similarly to this one? Or is a newer version of this one available (which is not gold)?
