does the phone coem with headphones?? or is there a headphone jack or something....or does it use the headset it comes with?

I have had issues with quality on mine too. First one had dust behind the screen out of the box and the backing of slider not glued down and scratching against the power button. So took it back and got another one. No dust this time but the backing of the slider is still not glued properly. I'm taking this one back too.

I'm on my 2nd 8800 Arte which I brought yesterday.
My 1st one had problem with the slider...
My new one had more problems....1.- I can't change the font color! 2.- I had the slide animation turned on; but there is no sound except picture! 3.- I tried to restore the factory setting a couple of times, but even after waiting for over 15 minutes, the phone show "restore setting failed"!
My conclusion is that recent Nokia product do not have proper QC(quality control)!

Almost everything about this 8800 Arte is nice, except those tiny fonts & icons which are always difficult for user starting from around age 40 onwards to read easily/comfortably!!!
Really starting to wonder what is the target age of any recent 8 series product???!!!

Pure Class... glad to have an 8*** series phone again after selling my first 8800(basic silver).
Its well made, feels great and has beauty that will surely stand its test in time. It doesnt attempt to compete with any other phone out there, its a phone, that does everything you need a phone to do - very well(plus theyve finally given it a decent camera!!!) Havent quite worked out the tap-to-see-clock thing yet, dont quite see the reasoning there, but its still a fabulous phone.
Get it, Insure it, Flaunt it!!!

Does anyone know how to get the settings for email and multimedia messaging for the 8800 Arte? I have At&t. i live in the states. i can't seem to get the settings any where. Thanks

I had a few 8 series before , the first 8 series I fall in love was my dad's 8810 , but that was back in 1998 when i was a child ,I got my first 8 series in 2005 when I was 15 , it was a silver 8800 , it was absoltely beautiful , I loved the way it closed and its special ringtone , I had 2 8800 , 2 8800 sirocco and one 8600 Luna , which one should I but , the arte or the sapphire arte ? plz help me guys

Well, this phone is definately well made & a pleasure to hold & open/close the slider. The menu & icons are not nearly as attractive as recent SonyEricsson phones. Icons & prints are on the small side for comfortable/fast reading. Regarding phone call sound quality; it's not half as good as Motorola phones!
