Having owned this phone for a month now, i can say it is a massive improvement.
The camera doesn't have a 2 stage process, you lierally point and click and the phone then focuses and snaps.
Also, to move files onto it, the phone will go into mass storage mode for drag and drop or it will use the sync software to sync contacts etc and then allow a content transfer under various icons in the software, ie pictures, music etc.

I have this phone since few days and the only thing that I will say is…wowww
This phone is exclusive and designers pay attention about even smallest parts of it. Materials are great and to my opinion this is the most exclusive phone made by Nokia ever.
I’m 100% satisfied

A seriously "sexy" phone. I have been chatting to a wonderfull woman about this phone! But people on high monthly tariff this "phone" is £200 or £600 off line for this?????? Is this phone worth it 3mega pix, 1 gig memory, sratch and grease proof???? leather sofa? american fridge freezer? plazma screen? a dodgy car? a washing machine? a washer dryer? cooker? oven? a new boiler? PC? I don't think so...not at this crazy cost....

To all 8800 arte owners:
I´m wondering if this beauty has a 3mp camera with auto focus but not have dedicated camera key. Which key acts as a 2 stage shutter??
I think it has great camera specifications to be a luxury phone

This phone is amazing! Four days standby time, and the looks of it...just breathtaking. It's very solid, too! No 15 mpx camera, no symbian (thank God, it is A PHONE after all), no lags! Just Perfect! Works amazingly well!!! Keep up the good work, Nokia!

Just got my new arte, upgrading from a silver sirocco 8800. So far so good, like the fact that it does not stain as much as the sivler sirocco black colour is really funky. Screen is much better, themes are great and major improvements on size, the device is much thinner than previous models. Couple of weak points the camera is not concealed like the previous sicoco model and tends to get dirty with fingerprints. Other than that great phone bit high on pricing but if you are upgrading from a previous 8800 then you know that its well worth the money.
