> In reply to james @ 2010-05-16 15:48 from uRG5 - click to readThe price will probably not go down because it's a luxury line of nokia dedicated to people who can afford it. Nokia wants to keep the 8800 serie as an exclusive line dedicated to a particular segment of the market . Since the main purpose of this phone is to transmit the message" look at me! I'm doing great" there is almoast no need to have features ( arte has a couple of tricks ) but those are not features. Let's face it, 99% of people who buy 8800 are not purchasing a phone , they are buying a simbol of wealth(with the hope that today 8800, tomorrow vertu) . In conclusion i'm regarding the arte serie as purely a statement of wealth.

Nokia should do an upgrade to this phone. This is a very good and superb phone in terms of looks. They should include fm radio, wi-fi, bluetooth, memory card expansion(using microSD) and the last but not least is to lower the price as not everyone can afford it. This phone has a solid look and have a very good protection against scratches and slight/medium impact(drop on the floor)

Used this phone for almost 2 years but tempted to sell for Motorola ZN5 last December 2009.
I missed the simplicity and elegance of this phone, and decided to trade back the motorola for this.
Again, I have that feeling of confidence and satisfaction with my gadget back.

Bought this phone 2 weeks ago. I'm glad to see so many posts/ comments against it, it'll keep it exclusive to those who understand it.
It's the best in the series, a piece of art, and definitely the most beautiful product of the industry.
For feature-lovers, I wish you all get what you like, a phone with a built-in fridge and all.. Now browse away please.
Oh and about quality, if this phone ever breaks, I'm buying it again, and willing to pay more! Because it's so pleasant to look at and feel, second only to my woman, of course!
Thank you Nokia.
