Here're clues for real Carbon Arte:
-Made in Korea
-Real 4Gb internal memory
-Real 3.2Mp camera
-Live wall papers
-Made with real Carbonfibre and premium material
-Doesn't support 2 sims
-Doesn't have memo card slot
-Price is around Eur 1,000.oo
Any said Carbon Arte which missed any of these things then it's FAKED(99.99% of Nokia Carbon Arte selling on Ebay are Faked especially from China/Hongkong/Etc.and price are less than Eur 500.oo.Most of these sale are not listed the phones origins and stated that phone's faked and copy).Beware and be smart./.

Here're the clues for someone who really want to spend big money for the genuine NOKIA CARBON ARTE:-always buy it from respectable Shops-the original Carbon is MADE IN KOREA and HAS 4Gb memo+3.2Mp camera.
All Carbon which states made in Finland is 99.99% is FAKE(even with EMEI regist...Wonder what the Chinese can do now a day!!!).Another small thing but very important is before buying Carbon is inspect the quality of the HOUSING and the Screen resolution(these're the only 2 things that the copy hasn't got coz they're expensive and costing).Forget the cheap Carbon on Ebay coz I can say for sure that they're all fakes/Genuine Carbon is now still cost around usd 1000.oo).Cheers

This photo is from gsmarena, it writes on the bottom of the box made in korea. Also look at the phones sold in ebay.com, they sell it for 100,200,300,400 dollars and it says its made in finland. There is no way to sell the original carbon arte for that price. The cheapest you can get is about 900-1000 euros. I bought my phone from nokia shop about 1250 euros. Also the the fake carbon arte's camera isn't 3.2 mp, its generally 2 mp and they usually dont have a real 4 gb internal memory and has a memory card, the original one doesnt have a memory card. Also when you plug the phone to pc, in the phone menu of the fake one says:
1) Mass storage
2) Webcam
3) COM Port
The original never says this.

I own the original 8800 carbon arte, i bought it for 1250 Euro's. If you have questions for this phone i can help you.
By the way the original one is made in korea. If it says made in finland its definately fake.

To be honest it's really hard to tell the differents between the Original Carbon and the Chinese's copy cats.Chinese copies are now gone to the next level of their product(getting better and better).Copies of Carbon are now vary(depend on how much you want to pay),they are now put the 4Gb stamp/Made in Finland or Korea and even has the IMEI registration(can be checked).The only things you can spot the differents are:1/The quality of the housing(materials/finished...).2/The Lcd resolution and clearness.
For our experiences,to be safe you'd buy the Nokia Carbon Arte from respectable Shops(or from your Network carriers/contracts).Becarefull if you buy it from Ebay coz 99.99% of Carbon Arte is faked(some sellers say it's copy but some don't).The only real Carbon is nomally listed not less than $600.oo used.That's our opinions/Good luck and be aware....For Mr NOKIA,we think it's time to step up and stop all Copies to protect your reputation and make people like us feel protected anytime we think of buying Nokia phones especially the expensive ones like the beloved NOKIA CARBON ARTE.

i have been using this phone for a while now and i feel that this phone has got really nice features .It looks like a million bucks,its a complete life style phone.Even more its slim, feels good in had and can easly fit in anyones pocket.However there is a problem with phone that it dosnt have a good talk time.Nokia has done a great job by desinging this phone but the battery life is just not good.I hope Nokia works on its battery life and software upgrades for this phone .
