the gold makes it expensive. i dont think this is such a good phone to buy. because u might find a better and cheaper phone,and why does it need 2 have gold? if u buy it then lose it, you'll wish u never bought it in the first place. so extravagant.
anyway thats my opinion.

Nice phone nothing wrong with paying 2500AUD for one, I have iphone and this one. If i was made to have only one phone, guess would have gone for the iphone

It's just ugly. People are gonna buy this just so they could say "Hey, I'm one of the few.." If you want to announce to the world that you're rich just buy other expensive nokia phones -- those with very good specs. I would never recommend this phone to anyone.

I bought this phone for $1800 and the performance is good but I will buy the vertu black diamond for around $400K but I only have $350K for my phone's budget my gosh

ok i was the owner of 8800 gold Arte, i bought this fully packed, when i took it out it did'nt looked like gold, although it's 18k gold but the gold thing which was the only beauty of the cell which looked rubbish, looked like the same plastic cell phone with golden colour, but i loved it's sliding and sliding sound..i sold it right after a week..
