hi all, i want to make a specification about this phone; 1st. like most said its a deluxe edition, and most of the people who buy this phone have money or they worked hard for them, any way, and one thing u should keep in mind is that all the luxury phones are expensive, and 2nd, this king of phones the have something special that lasts longer or shines better or something is there; now to this phone what is expensive, 1st. is the sapphire gem stone, now there was a rumor that if u return the sapphire stone to nokia, they will give u ~500 euro for it, now that was the rumor i heard, now u see where some of the money goes; 2nd, nokia have invested good money in the sound quality, and i am not talink about 3D surround from yout HCinema, i am talking good money, they even hired someone for the sound, the sound quality excels, very very clear, smooth, fine, and the 3rd, the slide, now the slide is different then the usual slide, whit this slide its hard to say; oops its broken because of the slide, now this slide its like the tracks of an tank with very small high quality stainless steel balls, now that my friends dont come cheap, now i hope that some things are clear why this phone is expensive

It does not have 1.3 mp camera neither auto focus it's just a vga camera.

The country were you live,you can get a better price in a country with a high living standard..In my country for example a saphire in a good condition is worth around 300€..Also,in what condition is the phone,how many minutes spoken it has, how long the battery lasts.If you're planning to sell it, a client will look at those things(if his not an idiot). An estimate price.....around 250-350€......Good luck!

I have a 8800 Sapphire Art, all I wanna say is this phone kick ass anytime anywhere. This is a proper phone, like a phone should be! I am really sick of seeing evry day iphone and blackberry. I am really glad, nokia 8800 series is not full of apps and all the s**ts. It's silly to buy an iphone and after 2 mounts Apple will launch the new genetarion. And YES after 10 yers sapphire will be still sapphire.

I also have a Galaxy S but this phone i bought because it's beautifull. But most people bought it because they liked the idea of owning a relatively rare phone. The arte series has targeted a segment of costumers who like the idea of relative exclusivity with this phone. And always wealthy people wanted to have exclusive things. Money and exclusivity...go hand in hand....

I have been using 8800 series for the past 10 years, I own 4 of it starting with 8910, the best for busines. I am looking for a phone not a camera not a labtop. It is so practical, heavy yes, but so class and prestigious.
I a
just love it and always look forward to new models of the same series.
I wish it was a bit cheaper though.
