Nice looking phone but the features are not that fantastic .. maybe more suitable for professionals who just wanna look stylish holding this phone ..

the future 8 series are longer and with only one colour = silver. 8900 will never pe produced (the concept was nice). only 3 future 8 series will come out, after that, the 8 series will be over, and vertu is manufactoring a cheap entry level phone for about 1400 euros (taxes are variable from continent to continent). the future cheap vertu does not have a card slot. it comes with or without camera like e50. it is thin as 6300. it is not so heavy as present vertu prones due to cheap case. the consierge service will not be given, not even free for the first 10 months. it does not have a sliding construction as 8800, it has a bar form. the sound is, i must say, very very good.

the price of the simple arte in black is 1000 euro, and the saphire edition it's 1150. it will be available for customers before Christmas.the camera is very good, the sound quality is stable. it has giroscope = a function that lets you reject calls by turning the phone upside down. the keys are small so if you have thick fingers you cannot use it (sorry). the feel in the hand is more close to 8800 than to the sirocco. it is also a little longer than the sirocco but thinner. the screen has the exact glass as the 8800 simple (it is not so good as the sirocco glass). the soft resembles the soft from 8600 luna. the box of the phone is very nice.

I don’t think Luna owners will get mad since the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte will be 1.7x more expensive than the Luna when the latter first came out. :)

This is so funny. Watch the luna people get mad now because they just got owned by this phone. But watch what happens when they grumble and dish out next month's pay check for the arte when it comes out...and 2 months later the 8900 comes out LOL!!!

Sapphire Arte is 40 series with no wlan flash and repeat of 8800 sirrocco what a fraud.Nokia please look after ur N series E series hangs freezez and restarts dont bluff people. sirroco & lunas are plenty second hand n market to buy at quarter price.Bon Voyage

As usual a fine looking Nokia device as they say at Nokia flagship store. But why limit to triband when quad is more appealing? For instance my circle of friends all own Luna but all 16 of us wouldn't dare try the new one because AT&T formerly Cingular will fail coverage because of the lack of the 4th band. Too bad that'll be 16 less units Nokia will sell. Wise-up Nokia!!

this is not a practical phone and as much very useful for alot of bucks
