You guys may say that "there's nothing special about this phone". But the fact that it looks expensive and IS expensive is it's asset!!! There's a market for these types of phones. Don't say crap if you can't afford it or have problems with it's price to performance ratio. People like me who use phones like this (I'm using a 8800 Sirocco) like the exclusivity that comes with it. And BTW, I also own a N93 and a XDA Stealth. So don't you dare call people like me "stupid" for buying expensive phones with little features.

the design is not as unique as when the first 8800 came out. i have 8800 gunmetal special edition which, as everyone knows, lacks functionality but i still keep on coming bck to it, even though i bought a 8 gb n95. The 8800 looks classy, every where i go people ask which phone is that.8800 series just looks great and nothing comes close to the feel of these phones. Ive owned every 8XXX series phone that ever came out and im not stopping now,I am definitely gona get this one when it comes out.
For those who say 8800 series doesn't have functionality. U need to learn that people who buy 8800 are never looking for functionality they have enough money to buy another phone for functionality if they desire. they buy 8800's for the uniqueness it brings. The battery time on the phones is not that bad, yes u need to charge em everyday but they do last an entire day, for me atleast. And if u insist that 3 hours talk time is not enough, as ull blow that off before breakfast then all u gota do is get a life and stop spending ur entire day on the phone.
For those who say go buy a vertu. well u can buy and vertu and then not think about changing your phone for a long time or u can get the 8800 series and update it as the next one comes out. besides with a 8800 ur already stressed about losing it whats gona happen to ur stress level when u get a vertu ???

Unlike the 8800 Arte, the design of this sapphire Arte seems more inclined for the ladies.

Sleek, uber-expensive no doubt, OLED screen . . . not worth the hideous expense.

Well done nokia!! Loved the 150 grams as the weight will reflct quality. If this phone is like 80 grams, it will feel like crap. For those compalining of the weight, go work out or get some sports done!! And this is MUCH HIGHER CLASS than the 8600!! Can see by the accesories provided (bluettoth headset and dock etc and ringtones"
