so, if we get the replica ones, is it that good? i guess it would look like plastic. people will know its a replica even if they're a mile away. right?

This phone has a very big price. Not for it's functionality but for the materials used. They dont just give a price to a phone like that. They calculate how much it cost them for the material and such. This phone was given a normal functionality but spectacular looks. I would get this phone, If I have the money lol. It has scratch free material, Smooth slide, soft keypad & colour. The functions only AUD$200 materials AUD$1500.

stupid phone..it.s about 730euros, and it can do nothing..and it.s so ugly. 4 only 400euros i can buy a nok n95 8GB(symbian,3.5G,wifi, FPU,..) wich is far better than 8800 arte saphire..simply...it doesn.t compare with my n82(symbian,3.5G,wifi, FPU,..) !!

For those of you considering owning the Arte!!
Forget functionality!! Forget versitility!!
This mobile is all about style and wealth. There's nothing like placing it on a table to anounce your presence. Everyone will want to pick it up whilst putting theirs away, never to be seen again in public!! The green eyed coments will begin to flow,'It's too expensive', 'The cameras no good', there's no radio', 'It's so heavy'............
The truth is, it's stylish and shouts sophistication. It says you care how you look and how people percieve you.
Your willing to pay that bit extra to be set apart from the crowd, the also rans!!
I've just got mine, in fact I have all the 8800's.They are the dress mobile, champagne in one hand arte in the other.
Everyone else.... has Lager!!

two months down the line and the software blew out on me. its never happened on the cheaper nokia's i have used all my life. when i sent it to the nokia priority dealer they said it would take 15 days to repair so i mean why do we pay so much if nokia cant provide quick service for their premiums phones. its just a sexy looking phone, not as reliable as the brand image suggests it should be.

And even much better than my vertu nurburgring edition. However, i am having problem with my arte's camera. Maybe because this is te first version for the software used in arte.

I used this phone for two weeks i really liked it but then i got the Vertu Ascent Ti and the Ti is way better this phone this phone is okay but i would still prefer the Ti over it more luxurious

you stupid people, why don't you understand the diference between a luxury phone and a multimedia phone? you don't have how to compare those 2 classes of mobile gsm,don`t you see?? the price of n95 is going down badly , but the luxury one decreas much harder!!! a nokia 8800 classic it`s steel 300 eur after 3 ears, i wonder how much a nokia n95 will be after this time!!! best regard!

you all guys go to hell.you all do'nt know the actual value of this mobile.if you want only mobile then this is that one but if you want the specification like:(camera,video recorder etc)so you better buy these things instead of mobile.do not mind what i said.
