nokia,i bet 1 million euro: if you bring back 8850 and 8810,they will sell like new, even now,in the era of great n95 and 8800 arte. too many people miss this models. they will sale again and again,no doubt better than in 1998-1999. just try with a limited number of this old beauties at a price around 250 euro

LEGENDARY phone... I brought the 8210 but upgraded to this shortly afterwards... have used the N80, Sirocco and Luna since but none come even close. The blue backlight, matte finish and keypad are unbeatable, all in a TINY package.
Shame technology eventually caught up with it, but its still the perfect combo of elegance and class.

Anyone looking for an 8850, you can get them here at www.foneco.uk.
I just got mine from here to today (along with an 8910i) and it brings back good memories of when I got my first one years back. Still a great phone, one of Nokias icons!

This is probably the best phone I've ever owned. Small, discreet, stylish, quick, easy to text with, especially with the tactile keys, the slider to hold it with and the Nokia T9 implementation for punctuation and extras. The cool blue light from the phone never bothered me in the car and never dazzled me at night and the display was always readable in daylight without having to light up the screen as we do now with modern colour screens.
This was phone was a masterpiece, genious. Everything was optimum.
Nokia are strong on marketing image and I always felt the 8850 said the right things about it's owner. As for the 8800, it just...hasn't got it. 8850 said 'smart'. 8800 talks more about itself, something like...'lead-lined gold-plated tea pot with 3 handles, buy me if you think you're rich enough'.
