One top class. I have recently bought this phone, after a few Nokia's which were disapointing, but this phone is the business!

Exactly. You got the point Nokia fan. This series has always been a "status phone".
The price is not high becouse of it being justified in any way, but becouse people who own these phones want to tell their position, wealth, etc. Like with cars. Why do some people buy a car that costs 100000€, when you can get quite a good vehicle with 50000€, or actually with 10000€? Becouse they are status symbols, like this Nokia series.

The phone is pretty and good .. but the price is redecilus!!! just because the cover made in tetanium which is very stupid to do .. tetanium is a tough metal .. but is it tough enough if u drop it by accedent on a solid floor? would the software function properly? I DON'T THINK SO.... I'm not buying a bullet proof phone! what will i do with it?! Fight with it?! .. it looks good ..but come on why does it cost $1000 with features that is simillar to Nokia 6310 ?!! .. this phone is for people that have money and don't know how to spend it!

Actully i think nokia phones are the best but there is this problem with nokia that every time they make or invent a new phone they dont have much new options.

I've owned a natural titanium version since 1/7/2002. The phone is nice because not many people own one, but the price is rediculous! I managed to buy one for 150 euro's signing a 20 euro a month 1-year contract, because I work in a telecom-shop part-time. The price without contract was as high as 967 euro's, now it is down to 820 éuros.
The features are nothing special, the bluetooth doesn't work properly (not able to detect a T68i) or a Ericsson or Jabra Bluetooth headset. I sold my 8910 last week making a nice profit! :) During the 4 months I used my 8910 it was broken two times, once needing a new slide-cover (mechanism broken) and once the complete keypad, outer over and software was replaced. I use my phones with care, all was replaced under warrenty.... so I was shocked about the poor quality! I have owned a 6110i, a 6210, a 8850, a 6310i, a 6510, a 8310 and a 7210 (UGLY outside!!), and the 6510 was best. I will get my new 6610 this monday (4/11/2002) because I have got a special deal with Nokia Netherlands!

just because of the titanium cover this stupid phone cost more than 1K. is nokia really have no more idea? replaceing a scratched cover cost u a few hundred dollars. 6310i is even better than this man

the most ugly phone from nokia, stupid design, can't even access the keypad when the the phone is not slide out. unlike the 8850 at least u can access the menu then the cover is not slide out
