Why is it that nokia were so ahead of thier time in 2000? The resolution is still better than series 60 5th edition smartphones today, it seems we have taekn a step back and not forward with the handsets today. This was truly FORWARD thinking, ableit not being a perfect smartphone.

man are you kidding!this is the worst phone ever!no bluetooth and only available in one color.Even my mom wont buy it because first thing you cant record music of your own.YOU ARE REALLY KIDDING! THIS THE BEST PHONE JA JA JA IJOO! haibo

I got this phone for free last year, fixed its signal cable and reinstalled all missing software (took a good while to track it all down), and i liked it a lot. Unfortunately i cracked its external display a few months ago (hit something sharp with my pocket), since then i had swapped a couple more phones and ended up keeping the 6600 i had and buying a N73 for my other SIM. I asked someone today if he could find me a display for it.
Given its age it's an awesome device. Yes it's big, yes it's ugly. But its functions are still impressive, and its battery still holds for 3 days in phone mode. With the phone off, it lasts for weeks in standby. Worked with a 1GB MMC no problem. Although the processor inside is slow, the OS uses the most out of it and it's pretty snappy. My N73 is slower than this brick.
Good things: Responsive, good keyboard, great office applications, good battery life, AWESOME speakerphone, still does its job even today. Oh and the best version of Bounce i ever played.
Bad things: "Not enough memory". Can't handle high resolution images. Audio sampling rate is only 8kHz, which absolutely blows for music. Video player is a joke. RealOne is better but it gets choppy sometimes and still doesn't have the option to play fullscreen (not enough memory i suppose, heh?). No alternative video apps for it. :( No GPRS. My operator dropped dial-up internet service last year so i can't use it on the internet.
Other thoughts: It's a collector's item. Not the best, not the prettiest, but it's a lot of fun to play with. And i AM gonna get the E90.

nokia 9210i communicator my first cellphone to use and it is the best.Nokia people you are the best keep it up.

They're a great help as I still use the vintage 8850 from time to time and they provide user manuals as well as the accessories. If that fails, try ebay obviously, you can get second hand good quality cables for cheap but make sure they are of good quality.

I am happy with my Nokia 9210i Communicator, but I lost my cable for the Computer and to put into my Nokia 9210i, to put the phonenumbers on my computer.
Where can I buy this cable ????????

OMG!
that phone won't even compare to e90.
even to the 8800 series fone.
so what if it has a 5mp cam...
i have my digicam and pro camera so i don't ven need that kind of phone which has flex problems.
hehehe!
i like this phone alot than n95.
