The 9300i has two improvements:
1. WLAN connectivity
2. Enchanced 1,100mAh battery
Talk time is up to 8 hours
Stand by is up to 230 hours
9300 is one of Nokias biggest sellers and maybe their most profitable phone ever so im not surprised they decided to upgrade it, now its even more perfect. A few more improvements would have been welcomed though.

I suppose dragosh is not a businessperson, because I am and I do need a camera on my phone even if is not Mega pixel. Many times in my work I have to have a photo, either as a proof or help my business associates get a better idea of things. So Mr Dragosh when you become a businessperson you will understand that photos are not just for entertainment.

this is a good phone not the best. because only one good feature that is added to this phone is IEEE 802.11g or wireless g. when nokia emailed me about this phone i thought this phone is even better than the 9500. i thought it has a at least mp camera, decent music player and higher version of symbian os. maybe ill stick to my 7710 for a while and wait for the much better and powerfull nokia phone.

this is a business phone!so a business user doesnt need a camera!dont post any messages that say that this is a really bad phone, cuz it has no camera.its a business phone,a really good phone.if you want a camera, then buy yourself a digital camera, cuz all phone cameras are really bad.there is no phone yet to have a cmos or ccd sensor,so the pictures they take are crappy.no optical zoom,no sensor,no good lens,no nothing.the only good phone is the n90 like phone,i dont know how its called.the one with 3 mp,autofocus and 3x optical zoom.but even this amaizing camera phone doesnt have a good imaging processor.so,dont judge a phone by its camera, especially if its a business phone.

I think Nokia is scrapping the bottom of the barrel on their communicators. I honestly expected that a 9300i would be out with a camera as soon as the 9300 was announced. But nooo Nokia only added WLAN nothing else I’m very disappointed with Nokia on this phone. They did not even upgrad the Symbian I wonder who is going to buy this phone. Personally a Nokia person I was looking forward to buy a 9300i with a camera, now I have to wait for the Sony Ericson P990

anttipng.....
I completely agree with you - this type of device does not need to be and indeed shouldn't be equipped with a camera....including one would only increase the cost and would be useless to most business users.
My main gripe with this is the fact that Nokia released the 9300 knowing full well they'd follow it up within a few months with an "updated" version. The "updates" are negligible and should have been included in the original.
