hey guys....got my communicator on 6th april.....it was bought frm kenya...firmware version is 5.22(1) and just 2 days b4 i bought a 2gb mmc of a local brand....nd it works fine my 2gb is loaded with about 74 3rd party sofware songs,vids etc.....nd it also runs iDesk & Taskmanager...it doesnt lag it works at the same speed as wen i opened the box 4 the first time wid its 128mb mmc....nd by the way i have dropped it twice and am a rough user nd its still goin well....

It can handle 1-2 gb but it tends to hang a lot and sometimes freezes, that happened to my fone. It can only hold up to 256mb Nokia said, sad to say but it does not hang or freezes. All you can do is to buy seperate MMCs if u want to store more files. And don't consume all the 80mb internal memory as it causes lag when navigating your phone.

i have a nokia 9500 from 2004 and is still ok and just last year i put the last firmware on him in a Nokia service on Austria and now is work very fast.
is a very very good phone.
