It also supports GPS and navigation with the help of Cellular network positioning.. so its not a GPS hardware device in this mobile but an alternate technology for navigation.. may be to reduce the cost they have used this technology so something is better than nothing, cheers!.. this technology would give you a 50 meter range of your position..
Perfect budget phone for a developing country like India.. its price before tax is 72USD means somwhere around 3900-4000 INR.. after tax and duties it should not got beyond 5000INR and in 5 grands it would be a best device for the youth.. 2G+Wi-Fi+GPS+FB+Twitter+WhatsApp support that what the youth is looking for.. and a 2MP Nokia camera is good.. I had used N72 for 4 years, the pics are great so expect the same quality of 2MP from Nokia.. but video capturing resolution should atleast have been QVGA@15 or 30 but its just CIF@10.. may be a cheap slower processor is used for this device..
Hope it releases on time before the end of 2Q i.e. June'13..
Gudd buy for 70$.. Surely buying this.. Relief from excessive smartphone usage..
I'm disappointed !!! I was expecting a high End QWERTY LUMIA phone!!!!!!!!
Nokia 210 is good to see with different colors like a windows phone, it is same or next version of Asha 200/201 & 205 series, the only thing is like internal memory is 64MB but still not sure as ROM info is missing & less colors of 65K, even battery is ok like 1200mah (Asha 200 has 1430mah) only added feature is we can access Wifi & GPRS of Class 32, & rest other are same, atleast front camera for video calling should have been added, it would have been a great change from Nokia atleast, even RAM is just 32MB, even this is really not great, should have been increased with 64MB, then to overall just a little feature added for looks, finish & etc. comparing with other Asha Series...... Good Luck !!!
wow! this phone is great. imagine, 12h talk time,40h music play, dual sim and USB. But i hope the USB option will not be removed before it's release and instead of flooding everywhere with Nokia Asha dual sim, why not launch a TRI-SIM PHONE?
This phone is good for chating. design not bad, oh,shit but thear is no,3g
NEXT NEXT NEXT NEXT X2-01,,,,X2-01,,,X2-01,,,,X2-01..surely gono but it if at all it matched X2-01's performance...
Really disappointing. was waiting for specs since I heard the news of qwerty keypad n was thinking Nokia will come up with something better but again same old rubbish
This will be hot coz first the design is good, price is cheap, dual sim and it has wifi. Good for the budget.
Market share matters. Tech blogs dont. Profits matter. Tech blogs dont. Sorry but nokias essentially dead. What idiot ceo sticks to a strategy that sees his company bleeding cash for 3 years, while selling its bricks and mortar under itself to look like its making something near a profit? Efin idiotic. No plan b? Seriously? What ceo school did this dip go to? Sorry mate, but this is beyond whether or not wp8 is good bad or ugly. Its about the marketshare and profitability of the company. Which is essentially zilch at this stage, after 3 years. CEO's have been fired for far less then this bozo has seemingly gotten away with. From roughly 35% marketshare worldwide when he took over to what 4%? Sorry but nokia is dead. Simply a company being hollowed out for eventual abandonment by ms.
