A nice little phone with reasonable software for the price. The resistive touch screen is unreliable after one year's use, so I've scrapped the phone. I won't be buying Nokia again in a hurry.

I purchased nokia asha300 in Jan., 2012. I got touch problem on 2013 july, in nokia care they charged 1500 for new touch screen replacement. but just 5 months later again its not working I got same problem.
i no longer get or can send e mail use facebook on nokia phone when i try internet address for new app it shows "no longer in use" can anyone help

The screen jam's like crazy. I bought this phone less than a year ago and will be sending for repair for the second time now.
Had it since March 2013 never a moment of trouble. And it now has the extra benefit of being so 'yesterday' that I can leave it anywhere and no-one will steal it ha ha. A good little phone, for mine:)
A dreadful phone. Screen freezes and menu gets scrambled. Security codes haphazard and this is the second phone after first one packed in same way. Steer clear, get rid.

With in 1.5 years i changed my screen once (Nokia authorize... moreNirmal: try applying cellophane tape on the screen and remove it immediately to clear the screen of any dust or dirt from use. It's a common problem with any touchscreen phone but can be fixed by simply doing so. I've been using my asha 300 for 2years plus now. Besides the occasional stalling when using WhatsApp, it still works like a gem no matter how many times its dropped out of my hands
