configuration is good, but set is very fragile, software is bad. no restriction for automatic msg sending (it costs everytime u change sim). no security lock for memory or new sim. do not play all types of mp4. touch is very good. but when u open write msg u alway have to open the keypad (initially keypad is not open in write msg). it fails to connect via p.c when try to connect with cable, simply bad nokia approach

the phone's okay
it's good for a simple phone with some nice feats on it
ONLY THAT it is 2G so it is kinda slow when using mobile data.
-it is a basic phone for me. simple and easy to use.
-you can download games but the touchpad isnt cooperating sometimes.

Just download it in whatsapp website and choose the nokia s40 and i even had an update last month. It's working flawlessly in my 308.
Regarding the dual standby, sometimes when using data or having a phone call, the other sim loose its signal but not always.
It's not a smartphone but it can act like a smartphone, for my daily use of phone calls, messaging(sms & im), 1 email account, it's a nice phone to use especially because of the size and typing experience actually isn't bad. I can type with one finger on the portrait qwerty keyboard with almost no mistake even though the keyboard is so small compare to the other touch screen devices.
All in all, it's a nice phone to use and i love it as a pair of my z10.

all nokia asha phones with two sims doesn't support whatsapp. i dnt even knw what is smart about it. its beta to get symbian phones

Never buy a Nokia dual sim phone. If you talk or use internet on one sim, the other sim will show out of range. There is no use having such dual sim phone. All nokia dual sim phones are Dual sim standby. while buying dual sim phone insist on Dual sim always active.
