Tonnie, 14 Feb 2014How to clear the phone ram?? And how to uninstall the already phone install apps?? Pls pls help mego to nokia store and ask for it
This is the worst Nokia phone I have ever used. Budget, or more likely, cheap (and I mean CHEAP)cut-down smartphone with very few features.
The calendar is a joke - my faithful and excellent Nokia X2 has a better calendar than this load of rubbish. In fact, the X2 has a better calendar than the iPhone 3GS I tried last year.
You can't copy calendar events and each event had to be entered manually. This is a major flaw for me, because I work as a freelance teacher and use my phone to store all my class details, and I often need to copy a class to another day.
Ovi suite is not even supported so I can't copy all my phone details from my X2 t the 503, although you can copy contacts and photos via Bluetooth, but not the calendar entries.
All the usual apps are there if you want them - What'sApp, Line etc. Wi-fi works fine.
It's just a rubbish, entry-level junk phone, OK for a 6 year old, perhaps, but not a professional who needs a proper calendar and more functionality.
I've had Nokias for the last 10 years or more, and this is the first time I have been so disappointed. I hope tsis not a sign of things to come ...

I wonder if this is Nokia's last featurephone.
Nokia X / Normandy looks like it might replace the Asha series.
I bought mine yesterday and I am really finding it interesting. I LUV everything about the phone.
it is a good phone but for people who are using high technology mobiles it is not good for them because there is no viber no skype nothing
lilly, 12 Feb 2014hieee guys i wnt to buy ASHA 503......is it gud????? plzz tell it guyssIt's a nice phone very small and compact and a attractive design, I have experience with the Asha 501 and this phone is similar, works good. I don't know about the camera because in the 501 is a different camera but overall the Phone is very nice.
In full black, it looks really sexy and kind of a compact small business phone look.
A major set back is that one cannot read documents either PDF or even ordinary word document.
I really regret buying this phone...everything is boring about it...what pains me most is the pdf it doesn't support.
Just as rubbish as the 501 except this one has a better camera and different case but is still a clumsy phone
I just bought the Nokia asha 503. but right now i must confess i am already regretting why i bought it. there is no provision for google talk..need to stay in touch with my boss...also, there is no option for zooming on already stored pics in the gallery.......
the headsets arent really balanced in sound as you are using the radio..they are on and off...
wmv& wma video format does not support
zooming is not possible in video recording
flash does not work in video recording
so, how can we say that, this is the best camera phone of nokia.
All things are good ...... But the radiation range.....Not satisfactory....!As a phone used for regular use SAR value must be reduced....please do that NOKIA...
