UK and INDONESIA - The launch of the Nokia C3 back in April certainly caused some excitement – we were still receiving positive comments on the post yesterday. It’s a sleek mix of social messaging and multimedia fun. Of course, though, the most common comment was ‘when can we get hold of it?’ And we didn’t know the answer – until today. The Nokia C3 is on sale right now in the UK and Indonesia.
C3 is available in UK and indonesia as of now.

there's only 3 nokia shop in Taman Angrek.
1 beside Sony Ericson (the biggest one) that only sell nokia
1 small shop own by global teleshop
1 medium shop own by oke shop in front of bakmi GM.
only the oke shop have the phone.

Nokia said that Indonesia were chosen as the first country to have this C3 because Indonesia have a very high facebook user, which 21 Million user, and have the most user accessing facebook from handphone.

The official price for Nokia C3 in Indonesia on launch day (Saturday, 5th June) and after that is 1.159.999 (around US$ 125).

I was wondering how big is the C3 waves created by nokia philipine?
Here in Indonesia nokia put a big ads in news paper, and will launch it in one of the best mall in Jakarta (Plasa Senayan). From the sales girl that I talk to when I went to taman angrek mall, they said it will be using lots of artist to sing at the podium, lots of games and trivia, and there will be door prize for the person who bought it there (on the launch floor), and also a direct gift (something like a wheel of fortune, you rotate the wheel, and see what will you got). and nokia also make a exist-meter-game too, if you got high score, you will got the C3 for free. http://www.nokia.co.id/eksismeter
so, i was wondering how the nokia perform on philipine or india where this C3 will be a very attractive devices.

Because nokia need to distribute the phone prior to the launch date. some store will get it first, others will get it in a couple of days latter.
Apple (and other company) used to make this distributor to sign an NDA that not to sell before some given time.
But, it seems nokia doing it differently. They announced the phone, distribute, and then some of the store already sell it, others don't. And then nokia will do a Grand Launch the phone, and then suddenly all the shop sell it. The key here is to get the phone before the launch, or at the launch.
Nokia (and also many other company) used to give a good package at the launch time.

I bought samsung m2710 beat from indra baajar in jaipur but it was not launched by samsung in jaipur but it was available in market and i have seen c3 in a shop (kesari mobile point ) this is a authorised shop by nokia u can call at shop , i wil give u number as i will get

This phone is ALREADY on the market of Indonesia. I went to TAMAN ANGREK today and went to the nokia and they show me the device. They said it will be officially launched on Plasa Senayan on Saturday, 5 June 2010 from 09.00 - 21.00. Be there and buy it on the launched day to get a good welcome gift.
If you want to buy before 5th June 2010 (as of now), the price is Rp. 1.200.000 (around USD 130).
Good phone, nice quality. especially considering the price of 1.2 million rupiah.
