Fixed focus is faster than auto focus when taking photo. The only dis advantage is wen taking in macro shot, many user of nokia dont know auto focus so nokia dont make other AF phones. Sometimes AF is better than FF (fixed focus).

The only disadvantage is the lack of Auto-Focus in this set . Nokia will understand it when the users dont buy it..............

i dont know whats w/ people posting messages thats either agains the brand or to people loyal to a brand. if Nokia chose to produce a devise w/ a given specs., that is their choice, and no one can question that. if people think that they are a fool by selling a vintage technology at the present market then all those people need to do is just ignore it or just simply saying then just dont buy it. GOD Bless everyone!

NOKIA... NO AUTO FOCUS... BATTERY - 1050 mAh..!!!
I cannot understand.. why you are going with a technology which exists five years back... Have a look on any other Big Mobile Companies excpet nokia have made any phone without 'AUTO FOCUS' for the last 5 yrs??? Then why you are again using the crappy technology again and again in several new devices..!!! and whatever may be your clarifications towards this point... that wouldn't be sufficient to satisfy the people. Please have a survey in the market before planning to launch a device...

As Mr. DAMIAN DINNING quoted... on 'AUTO FOCUS' ON C6-01, "we cannot please 6.5 billion people in the planet.." one request to you Mr. Damian... please try to please with at least 100 people in the planet first... n u r talking about 6.5 bn. which is as impossible as for nokia that a human being can reach in the SUN... and stay there...

I can't imagine that nokia will release a phone with this specification in last 2010
you can compare it with i8910 which is 2 years old now
of course i8910 is far better!!!

> In reply to nokila @ 2010-10-29 15:08 from vbys - click to readThe nokia n95 8gb and the n8 both use batteries of 1200mah. The n97 has a 1500mah battery. The n8 has by far the longest battery life amongst the three with the n97 and its larger cell taking the rear. The n8 is also the most feature packed of the three.

Battery life is not mathematics. There are too many variables.

Battery backup will be poor..
