hi all i have facing prob. wid ma nw nokia c7 dat wen i clik on ovi icon after few second it shows APPLICATION CANT CONNECT WID SERVICE. I hav done every posible thing bt i still in sucessful plz. help any body know its remedy.
the C7 has one feature that both the N8 and E7 lack: Enhanced haptic. Whatís strange about this is that it isnít mentioned in the C7ís specs and the Product Manager didnít really talk about. It wasnít until I used the C7, did I notice that there was something different about it compared to the N8. While typing with the virtual QWERTY keyboard I noticed that the haptic feedback was much better.
When I asked the Product Manager, he confirmed that indeed the C7 was using a newer generation of haptic feedback. Itís a bit hard to describe, but itís as if each single key vibrated separately, instead of just the entire device vibrating to simulate a single key press. Itís as if they placed individual tiny motors beneath each key on screen, which of course is impossible. The general idea behind this on previous devices was to give you some tactile feedback, the sensation that you actually pressed a physical button. On all previous devices like N900, 5800, N97 and even the N8, it did give you feedback, but it wasnít really like pressing a single, isolated button, it was more like: Oh, the entire phone vibrated.
On the C7 theyíve done an amazing job, creating a very effective and elegant effect that actually feels like pressing a key. The way each key vibrates separately without affecting other areas needs to be felt to be appreciated. Itís a very sophisticated process with subtleties that takes this to another level and that works beautifully on the C7. What makes this even more surreal is when you realize that your touching a piece of glass and that this is coming from a device that seems impossibly thin. This time Nokia got that just right.
Did you like or noticed the Nokia C7ís enhanced haptic?
Finally after a month of agany and after 1 week of updates & software installation the C7 is working smoothly and when it does work fine its one of the best phones around & never forget the low price
I want to buy the c7, but im not sure which is the better between the c7 and the n8. But in any case i still want to get the c7 coz it looks more girly. Oh and im from South Africa.
tipsy, 18 Feb 2011it doesnt have autofocus..how can we get better clarity of the images with out autofocus..avoid taking pics of anything that is within 50 cm. also reduce the sharpness from the settings. make sure there is enough light available when taking pics.
i bought my C7 in P.R.S., after 5 days i returned it to them because of some problem with its battery, etc. They told us that the unit is a factory defect unit and we are the unfortunate ones to have it. It sucks like hell, i even cried.
they said they will return it to Nokia center and we will have to wait for its replacement.until now we havent received any replacement, its already 1 week after the incident.
