I am using nokia e5 from previous 3 years continously i find this hand set the best handset wich is fulfilling my all requirements thanks nokia to make such a nice hand set

Of course E5 supports Whats app. You can download it from Nokia store or directly from site. (internet/wi-fi connectivity required)

Seems either you have purchased Nokia E5 recently or you may be unaware about the update released on 27-June-2012.
FYI the latest update available for Nokia E5 is 101.003.

General performance and usability improvements

You can update with Nokia suite or with handset.
In any case it's better to take back up of your Nokia E5.
If you are updating from Nokia Suite, connect your Nokia E5 to your laptop/PC (Internet connection should be available) & when Nokia Suite launched, go to Tools-Software update. You can update your software with Nokia Suite.
If you are updating from Nokia E5 (Internet connectivity/wi-fi connectivity should be available), go to Control Panel-SW update & update will be install automatically.
Update always give stability & not harmful, at least in case of Nokia.
In case of doubts, you can always check Nokia's official web site for further details.

2) try another battery, charger
3) if you know how to do,remove the back cover and clean all pins regarding power(charger socket)
4) heat the back side of the phone using a hair dryer
5)update the ROM using phoenix software !

Good day all E5 users.
The phone is good. I however have an issue with it.
I am unable to protect my configured E-mails with PASSWORD. That is anybody can access my Email Accounts.
Even the small C3 provide for authentication of Emails with password B4 accessing them. This do not have.
Pls i need Help.

its the toughest phone after 3310. Period. Even chuck norris cant break it. I dropped it from the 3rd floor by accident. Deep dents but fully operational..looks like a veteran soldier lol. Battery life- 1 full working day with super heavy use. keyboard is a monster. Kinda water resistant too. Havent dipped it in a bucket but it did get wet in the rain and it works like always. Awesome phone.....for a bygone era..an age long gone.

E5 is great phone.True, it might have issues if you don't know how to use it but once you know how to deal with it,then it becomes a great phone.Read help topics by Nokia.

Am using software version 091.001 om my E5 and am thinking of updating it to the latest version. Please, I want to know how good is the new version and whether it would give any problem after the update.

hi guys,i am using e5..now facing a problem.bettery gets low r its showin battery s empty and getting switched off wen i attend r making a call..in nokia care also they cant find any solution..so help intis issue pls..
