i didn't experience any problems with the keypad either... i've had my phone since it first came out july 06'... if your phone's still under warranty get it replaced its most probably the seller's fault maybe sold you unoriginal... i love my e50 its just so practical never had a problem with it

well em feak ov dis phone. really awsome ph. but some application r not install on dis ph n certificate error generate :( any1 tell me watz is dis?
n 2ndly can i use 2 gb card on dis ph? have any xperiance of 2 gb card wid E50? is this performance slow or not? kinldy leave replyz!!

It's nice. But it has problem in opening programs and games which I've had installed, and each time I wanna run a program I have to restart it.
Another problem is with its keypad. the numbers has disapeared soon after a month I bought it! I didn't excpect it from NOKIA

For the price, it is a superb phone with lots of features. It has the same engine of N73. Once you connect the phone with a N73 headset sounds so marvel. Give it a try, you wont regret at all. I love it cuz its very handy

Jonathan, plz go for E62, E50 is not that good if you are into heavin typing/texting.
E50 is a nice value for money, but the camera quality is not very good, offcourse m not comparing it with a 2 or 5 M.P. Camera phones, just compare it with 6230i and you would understand what i mean.
As far as comparing a 233Mhz processor of E50 with 6230 is concerned, plz give me a break, you should know better, never compare a series 60 phone with a series 40 phone.
You dont compare a smart fone with a normal fone, speeds vary, but you can be sure that if you dont over load your E50, it is faster then many of the same league.
I think that E61i n not E51 is the Present contender for "better value for money phone" post.

im goin for the E51...
since the prices are now ok... plannin to upgrade from the E50...
i was about to use some money over the body cover of E50 but since the phones usually get messed up after a body change... so i would rahter go for the NEW baby in town =)
