HI, i have this nice phone but i have still problem with losting network. When I put phone in my hand after few secinds phone lost signal. Have anybody experiences with same problem? Thnks

Hi
I am searching for a symbian phone, that syncs perfectly with outlook. I have lotsa info in my outlook including birthday details. When you set birthday in outlook it automatically set it to the calender. My crappy p910i hasnt got that feature.
Does e50 syncs the birthday, pics with outlook? Or which details E50 does not sync with outlook.

This phone accepts SISX applications that is applications for Symbian phones V3, third generations such as N80, N73 and most of N Series and E series, I have for one day, but i assure all it is wonderful, powerful and cheap relative to its Capabilities, I am satisfied witht he battery since i had N80 before which appeared to be crap, and i'm glad that i got red of it.

what a gr8 phone !!
stylish, sleek and fully loaded.
font problem: what font problem, there is no font problem at all.
the display is infact drop dead gorgeous.
you will fall in love with this phone the moment you get it in your hand.
my advice, "just go for it"

Yhe battery performs well... i don't know why people are facing this problems... for a medium use i have to charge it avery 3 days... it is normal for a smart phone...
The processor is texas instruments OMAP 220MHz
I have the phone for over a month and it dind't cause any problems... i hope to remain this way :)

To everybody who complains on:
Sound quality: i think my E50 is good, stereo sound using stereo headset and good loudspeaker. Good for this price!
Battery Life: 2 hours talk time per day, charge every 3 days. Good for this price
Camera 1.3M pix: Not the best but good for this price.
And if you think this phone is NOT good, you may have bought your phone from those street dealers with fake batteries installed... or you may not have enough money to pay for more expensive high level models... you have the wrong purpose... Have a nice day!

does fixing the fw up date fixes the problems
and you can use internet using a bt adepter an a progream called gnu box search it on google

jp, i am using a krussel leather case which i bought from an ebay dealer, i am happy with it coz it protects the phone all over, even protects it from coins when inside the pocket.

One more thing I wanted to ask is whether anyone can recommend a great cell phone cover for the E50. I bought one via eBay and it was a Crystal clear case (hard plastic) that consisted of two halves that snap together. This thing came from Hong Kong. The form (shape) was great BUT the two halves would not close properly to enclose the phone. This is because the design underestimates the thickness of phone. Bottomline: Now I'm looking for something better.

I have had the E50 for two weeks now and over all am happy with it. However, my biggest problem with it is the well-documented poor battery life. I also have to recharge the thing every two days with just average use. I have changed settings to lower power consumption, killed apps running in the background, etc but still end up having to recharge every 2 days. Can a problem like this typically be resolved by a future firmware upgrade? Not saying Nokia will do it, just want to know if it can be fixed through firmware. I would think so.
