vodacom havent even got the e51 yet.. soo irritating. my upgrade is soon.. 28th of feb... hope they get it.. cause if i cant afford the n95 i will either go for n81 or e51....

It's a great business class phone. Not toy for kids, with many improved functionts. It's the fastest phone I had seen (I mean control).

I Can not get Windows Live as an option in Download option. may be It connects to Asia pacific server.

Long press button #, that should put the phone to a profile called Silent (which you can customized)... i have no problem with this. if yr phone has a problem, suggest that you take it back. in fact, this feature is present in almost all nokia phone, including my old series 40 phone, nvr had a problem. sorry for you, tho.

seriously, i've not had a 'freeze' issue with this phone, after using it for 3mths. but i nvr keep sms msgs, i'll delete it most of the time, on daily basis. but you can set how many sms msgs to keep in the phone, this phone has that function (i bet u already know this). but really, with the speedier processor and bigger RAM, logically, it should not freeze like the old symbians. it my phone freezes, i'll be sure to post it here and share.

to use IM, you have to download (do it via WIFI and save money :-) WIndows Live Messenger application. Just go to the icon "Download" and do some discovery there.

my IM conversations are great as i use t9 for typing. and cool thing abt it, IM via wifi is free and very STABLE!

@ t-sepz, yeah i think i am going to switch from my e65 to the e51 soon. I really hate the speed of the e65 it is unbelievably slow for an s60 phone. People just getting the e65 now because the price has gone down but they'll be saying the same thing soon

I liked it, it is so great with so much of business application and wonderful price.
If you don't care about the Camera [only disadvantage] go for it

agreed mate... if you dont want camera and media.. or you prefer convenience, eg short cut keys.. size and connectivity..this phone is the best.. lets not forget its awesome price... oh and if only vodacom gave one of those nano video ipod's with this phone:) :) ha ha.. would be a no brainer on contract.... then...

I think going from a E65 to E51 would be a great idea. E51 has Feature Pack-1, HSDPA, 369mhz CPU (E65 only has a 235mhz CPU), and its smaller and better looking IMO.

In my mind the best phone on the market. Really thin, reliable, fast and great battery performance(3-4 days under normal use). This is not for those who wants a great camera phone then don't even consider this phone but if the camera matters little for you there is nothing more sweet than this little gem

Its my bad, the speaker is mono, but if u put the headset is on than music is stereo, inc fm radio.

all s60 phones can access the fullest of youtube through an application called emtube. Its pretty sweet

If u r a business person then this phone is must for u? Because of its dimension and connectivity. U can have the test of PDA for its contacts and other organizer. The connectivity utility is great. But if u r thinking to have a all in one or even multimedia phone please don’t go for it. This phone only work with business people who want “Fast and Furious” hand set.
