I want to know how to find the names in my contact book of Nokia E51 as I type the number on the screen. This is the most common feature and found on all brands of Motoroal and Samsung and others.

I did something new today. I played an MP3 from my E51, and connected it to a Sony Bluetooth Stereo Headset (with in-ear headphones).... the sound quality was FANTASTIC!

Anyone know if a new firmware is out yet for E51? Mine is still running on ver14.1. I'm hoping the latest version comes with a feature to 'mute' the camera sound :-) *wishful thinking*

is the screen of nokia e51 the same quality with the 6233/6300 that is not prone to scratch?? i still didnt remove the plastic protector. but its peeling off now.. any feedbacks??

There is a rumor that if we store sms at microSD, the phone became slow when acses message. And if we store message at its default, then when ur sms reached 500 then the phone became slow again. Is that true?
And when ur contact reached 500 then the phone became slow when acses contact.
Is that true too ?

@bboy when the Wlan wizard finds a network("WLAN networks found"->Select and u have 3 options 1. Search WLAN Networks 2.Switch Wlan Searches Off 3.Web browsing (WLAN Browser), for example @my work, I have 8 wifi networks, few with passwords :(( and the rest are free, but if I am connected @LAN-1( example) and the LAN-1 signal is low, the Wizards connects me automatically @LAN-2 who has powerful signal...maybe this is ur problem, verify wich A.Point is selected before connect WEB, 'cauz U select now LAN-1, but if the last wifi connection was X, the access point is X, no LAN-1..

hi just got the phone yesterday . unit works fine. my only problem is i cant connect to wifi hotspot even if theres a secured or non secured signal. how iam be able to connect?? is there any setting?? pls help me thanks.,

I just got this phone like two days ago. The wlan support is great,and so is the camera. It is indeed a reasonably priced phone with great features. The only feature i dislike about this phone is its power button..you have to push really hard and keep it pressed for a while, but thats not a biggie i guess.

i simply cant unerstand why theres not a front camera for 3g calls and why the back camera doesnt have a flash!!!!!!!!!!!otherwise its a superb fone.....goin to buy the 6120classic....seems pretty cool......no wifi htough

i buyed nokia e51 3 days ago, and I have problem with the upper steel cover. When I used, I hear creaky and I saw other E51 with no problems. I try to change the phone but they said no.
1 freez and a few error connections.

Personally I own an E51 and before get this I asking myself which is the best choice, E51 or E61i, if u compare the E51 with E61i you realised that E51 has the same features but more advanced(ex. (E51)GPRS class 32, EDGE class 32-(E61i) class 10 with same at EDGE, Memory E51 130mb - E61i 60mb, OS 9.2-OS 9.1, HSPDA 3.6mb/s - 384kb/s, the E51's CPU is higher speed than E61i with more RAM memory 96 vs 64) the rest is the same(camera, apps build-in, supported apps).
Now..E51 has a smaller screen than E61i, but E51 is very slide,stainless steel body, thin and E61i is a little bit big phone.
My personal opinion and sinceriously between this phones is E51!
I owned one and I am very satisf. is a powerful sexy slide phone!

You can store unlimited messages, but depends the memory card u use it, the phone has 130mb user data and u can store hundreds of msgs, but if u have a mem card u can select to receive all the msgs to be stored in the card, so calculate if u have a 2gb card, the storage is large!

can any1 tell me the number of messeges that can b stored in this phone???
whether it has a restricted memory for messeges or it can share other memory???????
