I want to ask you if the patch will fix the voice problem (mic. problem)..cz the sound fade away while talking..and a lot of people don't hear me very well when i talk to them.
Is it software problem that will get fixed by a firmware update or hardware?
i just installing the swiss manager pro in this phone. There is something strange. The phone specs inform that the phone cpu was working on 600Mhz. But the actual cpu speed (analize with swiss manager pro) only 192Mhz. Does anyone realize this?

Can anyone tell me if sending e-mails works without being in a wi-fi area or not having the internet option activated from your network provider?
at those who are with call quality problems,try in gsm and se if it happens.
My first E52 wich only worked with 3G had a very good quality,but if the signal dropped or was weak dropped the other person told me that he could ear echo.
If the problem continues,sed it for repair..

I know that is probably not so simple in Romania as the service in that region is poor but you have had it too long to exchange it. Occasional call problems would be normal for any phone/network but if it is always poor I would say there is a problem with the hardware. People think firmware is the magic solution for all but sometimes it's bad hardware.
My E52 from Poland (made in September 09) has good calls most of the time and occasional echo and bad quality (I think related to the noise cancellation not being so great). I do not have most of the major problems some complain of here so I must have an ok sample but there are clearly bad samples out there. I would try to get it repaired myself but I would not pay for this. Unless warranty repaired it I don't think it is worth risking even more on an already very expensive phone.
I have this phone since 5 month ago ,but the quality of calls are very bad,the other person dont heard me at all sometimes and afther few seconds can heard me normaly and so on! I have the latest software 022.009, I'll try it in 3 diferent network the same problem!My old E51 works great in all 3 networks!Charging empty battery around 2hrs is normally?!? I am from Romania Any ideas?!?

i bought this phone nokia E52(the silver one) last week ago...I should say that this is the best mobile I've ever held. Very nice design,Features,and great Battery life. 9/10 Highly Recommended!!!

I've got my E52 a week ago. Color is white! I never thought there's a white one.
The reason I chose this color is because it's newly released so I'm guaranteed an updated phone not the firmware but the software function itself.
I was right.
I now have 5800 xm, C901 and E52.
E52 has the best battery capability (4 days of heavy group messaging in 3.5G). The processor is really fast. The internet in wi-fi mode is really fast and user-friendly. Same goes if you use the network connection.
The music is superb as reviewed. The video mode is okay but it lags when you play a 1GB video file (this doesn't happen in 5800). The symbian interface may take time getting used to but once you're familiar with it, you get techniques on how to do shortcuts in between tasks. Though there's not much of a change in the interface.
The unit is really slim and practically weightless in the pocket.
Camera is the only let down but I have C901 for that.

I set up the email messa... moreI have had nothing but trouble and inconsistent behavior from the email app. I love the battery life and many features but the software ease of use is horrible. For calls and sms it is a great phone and will last ages on a charge (I am going on 4 days and still at 7 full bars with a few calls, sms and photos per day with 3G and all wireless connectivity turned off) but for use on the internet, email and other multimedia stuff its not the best option.
Customer service is horrible...Nokia's website keeps making you click and click and then traps you in a messaging menu with no "other" option. If your problem doesn't fit their menu there is no email given and they say if you don't chose the proper menu choice they may delete your message..WTF? I want a phone number and email at the first contact link not 5 or 6 layers that end up still not helping me.
The call center (in the Philippines if you call from the EU or USA) is unhelpful and reads of scripts. I solved the problem myself after an hour on the phone then the kid tries to take credit for it repeating what I just told him. When I asked him where he was located he lied a few times and said the UK then finally admitted he was in the Philippines as he couldn't understand EU phone number formats.
I love the size and battery life of the E52 but that's all. The rest is overly complicated and the Customer Service horrid. I will never spend this much on a phone again and will not buy Nokia again. It is a shame because they could have had a real winner if they made the software more friendly and the CS decent. If I can find a way to debrand and use a third party OS I will but it doesn't look like it's a good option.
i bought e52 3 months ago. battery life is good usually it takes 2-3 days before it gets battery empty. charge it for 20 minutes and its good to go again.

I can not believe how little they know. I have made calls to several different people and all of them have no clue what is going. I will jump ship from Nokia to BB if they don't address this terrible customer service issue. so frustrating!!
