Murray, 18 Dec 2009I bought an E52 a couple of weeks ago. I must say it's by far the worst phone I have EVER owne... morewhen did you notice the reboot? Was it during the 1st week you had it? I'm just curious because I'm planning to get one. I had the same reboot issue with the Nokia 6120c that i had. The frequent reboot started on the first day I had it. i reported it to the telephone provider though.
i love this phone. It is so easy to use and the keypad is great. The 0nly pr0blem i have w/this ph0ne are the n0t so familiar settings t0 setup like the vpn, packet data, sip settings, and xdm pr0file. But other than that this ph0ne is really excellent.

Murray, 18 Dec 2009I bought an E52 a couple of weeks ago. I must say it's by far the worst phone I have EVER owne... morehi, mind to share your IMEI# (e.g. 355216 03 36xxxx 2)?
am trying to figure out if the batch of the phone has anything to do with the stability problem, which obviously not due to firmware, which has been updated and claimed stable by some, yet failed on yours.
I bought an E52 a couple of weeks ago. I must say it's by far the worst phone I have EVER owned. Plenty of reboots, Countless times it has failed to turn on and when it finally does turn on, there is no explanation as to why it decides to work. My old N96 wasn't this bad.
Don't recommend it at all to anyone.
I need someone know and have me with some idea now i use E52 but i want to compaire with N79 that I never use, who has experian to use both Phone please help me whic one is the best?
just received mine today. is this like all other nokis's? should first charge be 16-hour charge to get maximum out of battery?
Well, it seems the best phone I've ever had.
I've had a Siemens SX1, N73 and Samsung Omnia i8910(god forbid!). These all are no match for E52 in all terms.
E52 is a charming blend of rock-solid design and slim body, which makes a very reliable impression. The battery life in unbeatable (30 days of stand-by hailed by Nokia ads seems to be an overstatement but believe me the phone can endure 8-10 days of moderate use with no sweat)
600mHz processor is a demon inside the phone. Symbian performance speed is a charm.
The phone's ability to configure is great.
Moreover, the sound player inside it renders sound on par with N Series (if not better). Strange as it's still a business phone.
The only disadvantages I can tell of is lack of TV-Out capability (I got used to it while toying with Omnia for two weeks) and a mediocre camera. But hey, it's a business phone, remember?
The phone is cheaper than most N-series and gives you real value for money.
Buy it now, you won't regret.
