Arvind, 02 Sep 2009Can Anyone tell me, what is the price of this mobile?...
Thanks..........It cost 295us in here,
Dear Friends, As earlier I posted my reviews about E52, undoubtedly it is a superior mobile in terms of speed, software intelligence, ergonomics of the keypad, built quality, Music eligibility, connectivity. Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant all the way.
But somehow, after having this mobile for a month, I felt it was complete mobility tool but somewhere, something was missing. Now I realised that whatever packed features this mobile offer it lacks the feel of qwerty keys and the feel of steel (sturdiness).
I sold my E52 today and got E71. Now I will use E71 for sometime and then decide finally to stick to E71 or go back to E52.
Friends, if you can pardon E52 for its lack of steel finish and Qwerty keys and to some extent autofocus camera than it is the best mobile phone on planet.
Will talk to you soon.

i pray god tht today ie thursday u get ur fon and so tht we cn hv ur review..!! He he..!
By the way, yesterday, i got a chance to hold n79 for smtm.
-built quality is ok. Nt bad.
-display was very clear bt was nt so bright. I really doubt for its sun light legibility.
-key pad so hard.
-touch sensitive navy wheel was working nice bt i dnt feel its of much use.
-camera quality is jst ok. Nothing more than tht. Even branded lense dsnt provide gud result in still pics. Bt video is nice.
Bt i use camera rarely.
-its processor was quite slow though it was a new fon wid latest firmware and widout any third party applications. Fon was lagging even in galary browsing.
-bt for browsing, thumbs up. It was a nice experience wid built in browser nd thru EDGE nt 3G.
So overall its ok, nt so impressive.
Waiting for OJ'S review for E52.
Thanx nd regards.
Today i have checked out the E52 1st time today in my own hands in an electronic enter and want to post my opinion:
+ i must really say that the body of the phone is very ergonomic and the phone looks pretty cool
+ the build quality is also solid and the navigation keys in metal are really that what i have expect:
FABULOUS (the metal keys feels so noble)
+ the OS speed is high
+ camera capture pictures much faster( compared to my 6290)
- at the battery cover is an mini hole place which can u press minimal together
My first experience with this device in my hands was IMPRESSIVE!
that was short a bit i will test the gps and the audio qualities tomorrow
its nothing new i know but i was surprised if i saw it there
Anybody knows when this phone is going to be sold in Europe? I'm in Spain and still nobody knows
Arvind, 02 Sep 2009Can Anyone tell me, what is the price of this mobile?... Thanks..........330 Dollars is the price of Nokia E52.
I am having it for 10 days
My fav applications like Fring, webgate voice inbox, webgate agvanced call manager(the answer mach choice) will NOT work on this device!!
the loud speeker is very low.
The photo gallary is freezing when browsing large photos.
The fron metal framegets loosy (not a good build quality like E51).
Hard to change input language.
Can't view flash content in most sites.
It take time to response after unlocking the keypad if the sensor is on.
Can'tinstall ovi store!
The gray metal version keypad comes with white numbers so it is hard to view.
I am in my way to change it with an E71.
Can Anyone tell me, what is the price of this mobile?...
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2009Just have the phone for 2 weeks now. Never regret that i change my SE W960i to this phone. eve... moreHi, can you tell me if the ' # ' button works to select multiple files or sms.
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2009Just have the phone for 2 weeks now. Never regret that i change my SE W960i to this phone. eve... moreHey, thanks for your nice review. Can I ask something?
Uhmm.. Actually, the 6720c can record up to VGA resolution (640x480 pixels) @ 15 FPS as this Nokia E52. However, the 6720c can also record videos at CIF resolution (352x288 pixels) @ 30FPS. So my question is:
Can this E52 record videos at CIF @ 30 FPS too?
I'm just wondering since both phones run on the same CPU clock rate at 600 MHz..
Please.. I wanna know.
Just have the phone for 2 weeks now. Never regret that i change my SE W960i to this phone. eventhough the SE W960i has a better camera and speaker but the nokia E52 are better in performance! with the 600MHZ processor it is really smooth and did not hang at all while u r opening any applications. the battery life is superb. can last up to 5 days if u r not using so your phone frequently. the speaker is soft but the vibration is good. camera is stll ok to me because i rarely use it also. the best part is even when i'm using my 16GB card also there is no problem like hang or take a long time to scan the picture or music. then the video extra features is u can on the flashlight to take video in a dark environment. for me it's really worth of money buying this phone.
Just for your information the nokia E52 are available in Malaysia and the price is RM1399. Cheers!
The E72 is the true E series business phone from Nokia, kinda like the bestseller E71. That's why it's taking a bit longer for it to be released. The 1 month difference from the E52/E55 allows Nokia not only to price it accordingly but also to implement firmware fixes that were discovered with the E52/E55 "guinea pigs"
Does anybody know if one will be able to use the Ovidd store with this phone?
Good phone. It's affordable and very, very usable with strogn features rather than gimmicks. The camera is good, as is the video functionality. Sound quality good, office applications up to the usual standard. My only compliants? Minor ones. The white lettering on the keypad can be hard to see in low light conditions up against the grey of the phone; the zoom button is hard to find when you're reviewing your photos; and you have to keep actively connecting to the internet when you want to view certain fetaures, rather than it simply being on as in my HTC phone (although that probbaly helps extend the Nokia's already-excellent battery life); and the slot to put a carry cord (not that one is supplied) is so tiny as to be almost unusable. That aside, it's an excellent, affordable smarphone that does everything as well as (if not better) than flashier, more expensive devices.
