Anonymous, 10 Dec 2010no idea what you are talking about..what i mean..the messaging feature of the phone..is there a threaded view of messages..
luigie, 10 Dec 2010does it have a conversation? meaning threaded messages like the other nokia phones..no idea what you are talking about..
Among smartphones, handsets using Nokia's Symbian software held marketshare of 37 per cent in the quarter, with Android surging to 26 per cent from 3.5 per cent last year. Apple had 17 per cent, according to Gartner
does it have a conversation? meaning threaded messages like the other nokia phones..
[deleted post]U are trying to compare touch screen phone with a classic style phone. To be able to answer your question, there has to be someone who used both the phone. But then, it will be best if you read all the user opinions of E52 and LG phone.
Personally, I like Nokia phones in general because of the robust build feature and the long battery life especially this E52.
I also don't want touch screen phone because I do a lot of messaging.
If not Nokia then, try out Apple iphone or samsung galaxy.
Any way what is your exact requirement of the phone,? Do you need slim and pocketable phone? IS your budget limited to some figure? Do you need good after sale service?(what if your LG phone goes for a toss after one month and there is no good service center nearby),
Consider all those things and decide which one to buy!!
All the best.
Happy E52 User.

Please read the email chain and be enlightened about the software. Using this software, you can block all numbers or selected numbers or allow certain numbers to call you on your phone, this is really useful for me to reject unwanted calls.

I'd been searching eversince I bought this second hand... to no avail. It ain't in applications manager either. It sure sounds like a nice functionality... sure would hate to lose that.I looked all over the web, but nobody else seems to have reported such an issue on any forums. Seems it is only with this unit. Weird.
Can ACM be downloaded and installed? If so, from where?
Thanks in advance...

If we insta... moreYes and No.
No: Because the software is installed in the memory card, meaning the executable code resides in memory card.
Yes: Because, the information about the software such are the application name, version number, supplier, info about software certificate, software is trial or full version et al, have to be stored in the phone memory/phone registry. But this is relatively small size compared to the executable code.
When so many many applications are installed on your phone memory or SD card, these kind of registry entries for each application could become too much to be handled by your device and hence could result a performance degradation.
You can imagine you phone like a small computer with:
RAM: 119MB(~128MB standard)
external hdd/storage = Ur MicroSD card(1GB,2GB…32GB)
Now you might get a better idea about your device
