First of all you have to know about the about the message centre number of your network service provider,normally it is as +12digits, then;
Follow the instructions
go to messanging_options_setting_Text message_Message Centres_Option_New msg.centre_Message Centre (type the name as per your choice may be your service provider name)_OK_Msg.centre number(type the msg.centre number, then press ok
now you will find a new message centre number in the list, you have to select that msg.centre number in the msg.centre in use field.
hopeful it will solve your problem.

THIS IS THE BENCHMARK FOR ALL INTERNET PHONES. Though there are new models out there, this phone could still stand up to those in performance. It has great Wifi, OS, and the possibilities of how the phone could be use is endless. I use min for the office, for internet gaming, and intertainment. There are countless of office programs that works for the phone, there are a lot of internet games i can play (MMO, MMORPG like travian, kingsage. etc). there are thousands of mobile games that works well with it. And the music player and movie player works well too esp while travelling long distances (pls. dont use it while flying)- you just need a decent headset like a SKULLCANDY-BOSE-ETC and an adaptor.
The only thing missing is the camera, and it make sense because this is originally created as a business phone. And that's why i love it, i can use it in the office without posing any danger to office security and policy.
This phone rocks, my E61 is almost 3 years old, i got it as soon as it hit the market, and it still is running good as new. Its a hard phone to beat, even by those touch-screen phones which are so inconvenient.

My phone keeps on turning off whenever I make a call... I have replaced the battery but still keeps doing the same thing.... can anybody advise me on what to do next? Any advice is higly appreciated:-)

I have e61i n have this too..my wife use e61i n i use e61..this phone so easy to use,browsing,chating,so fast n easy...if u want 2 buy qwerty phone nokia e61 n e61i is the best choice...

i recently formatted my nokia e61 n after that wen evr i load any new software like smart movie or voice recorder so my cell promte "certificate expired contact the applicatn supplier" plz any one tell me what shall i do 2 use these softwares my e mail id is vivekrevisited@yahoo.com

I just bought this phone and at first this phone doesnt look good but as you get used to it .. .. will not take weeks just a few days.. you will start liking it.. the messaging is alo easier then other similar QWERTY phones. it has all the features that some one will look for in a handset like this. and be clear of one thing the phone companies wont provide you with every thing in just one phone .. they will deliberatly miss some features as in this case its the camera.. if they put all the features in a phone then no one will have ever felt the need of buying another phone......

Let me know if this works, also if u know what u use flashplayer 4, thanks.
