Chantell I am interested in the outcome of your phone. I dropped mine in water as well and it powers up some times the screen lights up the nokia sign comes on and then is goes off. I am hoping it is just the battery

Hi chantelle, you probably blown the light circuits, the best thing to do if u drop ur fone in water is to not power it on or connect it 2 a power source until its completely dry. If you take it sevice center they will charge u a fortune. I would take it to a 3rd party mobile phone shop and tell them u want the screen replaced cos ur lights aint workin. Try take it to a shop where they have the screen in stock. That way if dont work or thay cant fix it, they cant really charge you. Just say nothing about water, although they will prob know when they open it, anyway just say nothing.

I have a Nokia E61. The problem is that it fell in the water and now, cannot light up. Please assist im not sure whether to go to a service center coz i tried blow drying it but nothing. will it be ok?

this phone seems a expensive decent phone but the thuth is it is very cheap and does not have the flexibility of a mobile i prefer using blackberries

Hey alien. Go into app manager, settings and turn off ' only signed apps install'. It was driving me crazy aswell. Also if some stuff still dont install put ur date to 2007 install app/theme then change date back.
