If you don't need: GPS, Radio, 2nd Camera, HSDPA. Then go with E61i. Larger screen and keypads, robust frame, cheaper.

If I were you and loved and needed my phone so much, then I would get it repaired. E 61i is a fabulous phone from all angles other than RAM.
