With fring u will be online 24 hrs and connected to almost al the IMs that u have heard of. I am loggrd into Skype, Google talk, MSN, and Yahoo al the time. and can chat with more than one person simultaneously thru fring. Only u cant talk with yahoo, but that is being sorted out.

awww... this phone is very hot.. iloe it.. fast download through wifi..


andrei try to use a larger memory card size maybe that will hepl, im using a 2GB and im not experinecing any problem with it.

Nokia E61i is much better because of wide screen, comfortable keypad and good design than Nokia E71i. Nokia E71i is good for higher processor 128MB RAM and Flash Lite 3 support which Nokia E61i does not have but hope Nokia will soon add Flash lite 3 in new firmware version. I am quite satisfy with Nokia E61i and wait for new firmware version with addition Flash Lite 3. My second choice is Nokia E90i

Can Nokia Corp. have an ability to upgrade Symbian OS 9.1, Series 60 v3.0 UI to Symbian OS 9.1, Series 60 v3.1 UI? Can anyone help me how to install Flash Lite 3 in Nokia E61i?

These are my comments:

1]is it relly slooooooooooooooooooow
A: Compared to a recent PC Desktop, yes.
Compared to other Smartphones I've seen, it is about the same.

2]can i really edit office documents
A: Yes, after you upgrade.
3]can it handle 2gb card
A: Yes, I have one installed on it (Sandisk Ultra II)

4]can i use n70music edition handsfree on e61i[both have popports]:
A: I do not know, I don't use it for Music.

5]is the screen really good for web surfing.
A: Yes, I also installed Opera and runs very good.

6]will nokia discontinue e61i in near future
A: Well, if you consider near future as the next 2 years, yes. It is same story with all the smartphones.

7]is it really worth going for e71[i know e71 is faster but has smaller screen and looks more faminine]
A: Mmmh..., not sure on this one but I prefer a larger screen.

Don't understand that E61i and E65i launched together but E61i has only RAM 64MB instead of RAM 128MB and E65i has RAM 128MB. Quite illogical for full QWERTY Keyboard E61i type of device!!!

Nokia E61i is good phone. I am quite satisfy with this phone. But there are few problems while internet browsing; Flash sites/banners not supported, Memory shows full even 64MB of SDRAM. I have firmware version 2063365.01. Will it improve in next firmware version?

hi all E series users
i have E61i and the keypad lamps turn off after 3 months , when i try to repair in NPC they told me it must be swap to jakarta for 2-3months.....its so crazy just repair keypads lamps.so i cancel to repair in NPC sby or jkt. the next month when i have traveling to singapore,i try to repair my E61i to NCC in suntec and the result is zero,they cant repiar it and it must be swap to other nokia care in singapore and need to repair about 3 weeks. its so crazy cos i should go home to sby,and the reason NCC singapore cant repair bacause nokia indonesia have different software with nokia sing software, and they charge me about sgd$20 for reject or cancel repair. i think they do nothing for my phone. so far this phone is amazing and make other people staring at my phone. maybe staring at me too, haha.
Now i wait for 5800 cos it has bigger screen size and resolution,but i wish there is a wifi in 5800 express music. thanks nokia and u should improve ur product otherwise u will be kicked by SE product

> In reply to k man @ 2008-09-05 15:14 from N7$qunluckily, yes the e61i is a bit slower in opening just simple apps. due to its arm 9 220mhz processor. the e51, its lower brother is much faster with its arm 11 369mhz processor. wonder y? sometimes its taking a few seconds before initializing its apps. nokia has outfitted this device with a lower engine for many features. sori theirs no upgrade softs yet at nokia sites. but still love this fon.
