Nokia E62 is a workhorse. Works great, dropped it few times, still work. Had an E71, great with many features but too delicate.

I have been using the phone for more than a year now. Text messaging does not take that long. Advice to get it checked at your nearest Nokia Service.

I have been using this phone for the last one year. I must say that I am surprised by the performance of this phone. I was a Sony freak until I used the E62. I found the E62 to be the best in the business phones category. The battery life is really good. I charge my phone once in 3-4 days. The drawback I face is the hot key for voice recording. Apart from this, the phone get a 5 star rating.

I like dis phone,its one of d best phone ever made by nokia,d only problem is wlam,in term of 3g,i dont need it well its a perfect phone for me

The problem with these forums is that its always full with kids that dont have any idea how the market works, and starts complaining about a "step backwards" or even saying that the "nokia will go bankrupt", etc..
What kids gotta understand is that each phone is made for a different "type" of person. For example, this phone is perfect for me.. I dont need a camera, and I dont want to pay extra to have a cam on the cell. I rather use my panasonic TZ3 cam that is always with me and have a MUCH better pic than any cell phone will ever have (bought almost new for 90 bucks).
Now, about the comparisons with the e61.. Yes, the 61 is better because it has WLAN and 3G and that makes a huge difference. But, the e62 is half the price of the e61 bought used. I'll stick to the e62 now because I'm unemployed. In the plus side, the e62 has a mini-USB jack, and both e61 and e61i doesnt.
A MAJOR problem to all the three models is the lack of a 3.5mm Headphone jack, but that could be solved with an adapter. Now, live with an adapter forever clinging on your phone!!!!

I've had this phone for over a year and it sucks big time. I regret I bought this phone. It's too slow and OS keeps crashing and rebooting.

I am unabel to send and receive text message. I have Checked message centre number, Downloaded sms settings, Done factory-reset, Replaced USIM, Popped other USIM in this handset. Didn't resolve.
However, I am able to send and receive text message if I put my USIM in a different handset.
Can anyone please give me a solution to this so that I can send and receive text messages on my Nokia E62 handset.

Hi, my E62 takes nearly 1 min to send a test mess. Is this common to all E62 mob or only mine has this prob?
But, I've found reseting the mob to its factory settings will let me to send mess sooner. But, it lasts for only one week. So, I'm resetting the mob every week.
Can anyone know how to get rid of this problem???
