the only thing stopping me from buying this phone is the battery

how "bad" is it??

Are you using a holster to carry your E66? The E66 uses a magnetic switch to sense whether the slide is open or closed and can be affected by the magnetic closure on a carry case. Try swiping a magnet around the E66 phone. This has resolved the problem on other peoples E66 phones. Let us know how you get on...

the construction of nokia's are still the best, i have had this N95 8GB since february, and drop it many times, even out the car while opening the door, its solid, and slider is bang on perfect, and no software problems, compared to other manufacturers they still the best, i want this E66 cos its ultimate quality

I purchased this phone yesterday. But it takes forever for the camera to actually function. I had to press the camera button adn than it goes blank out for like... 2 mins until it finished loading. my friends were smiling for 4 mins waiting for their group photo!

Concern,

Is it actually possible.

1. Download "MyWay.MP3" to Nokia E66.
2. Set MyWay.MP3 as Default ringtone for Unknown Caller (Caller number is not on contact list/phonebook).
3. Set MyWay.Mp3 as Default ringtone for Unknown SMS/MMS sender (Sender number is not on contact list/phonebook)
3. Set MyWay.MP3 as Default ringtone for Alarm Clock.
4. Set MyWay.MP3 as Default ringtone for Calendar Alarm.

i was about to buy this phone, but i've noticed that no place indicates where it was made from. It's just Made by Nokia. I thought nokia phones are made in Finland, i.e. E65 models are Finlands made.

To the previous 2 posts specs are for cellphones ability and yes 8megas are available but they cant do 80 percent of business jobs on the go rest about touch screen how many ve you been bored already tying on chic solutions anyhow everyone has the right of his opinion lastly only 1 question how much lag time opening up a word file with 500 plus cpu compared to 350 Mhz symbion ppl symbion has evolutionized throu a phase very much like ms dos to vista but still there is room for improvement

This is just a slide design of the Nokia E-71.

man I see the specs on this phone and I must say it looks nice. I don't see big difference between this one and my N82, just the camera. I am looking forward to touch it since my room-mate bought this 2 days ago.

a question to all the ppl why the construction quality of the Nokia So called flagship N95 so so poor my assumption is they wanted to replace it with N96 even simplest 6120 classic has better one ? ? ? azansuleman@yahoo.com

For all the audience this set has the best construction and its implementation of all nokias poor old N73 comes 2nd and E51 the third keypad is best part of E51

I agree battery is rather weak. But the E-Series calendar more than makes up for it! It is more-or-less the perfect calendar, and the perfect phone for busy people, who just won't use the camera too much, or make too many video calls to friends and family.
