Nokia E66 looks wise is excellent...beautiful looks, but battery is very very weak.....
If i charge my phone at nught by morning its 1bar down already....it hardly lasts for 5-6hours...

Will the new firmware improve battery-life? I have FW 102.07.81, but can't update the firmware yet, because I have an operator version for which updates aren't available yet.

There is already a new firmware. Upgrade your E66
through the Nokia Website.

I now own the E66 for almost 2 weeks. Though the phone looks pretty nice ans the specs are great, THIS IS A WARNING NOT TO BUY THIS PHONE: It is absolutely useless, because you have to charge it almost every day. The maximum time without recharge was 2.5 days, but in that period I left the phone almost untouched, maybe only 30 minutes phonecalls, 3 text messages, WLAN/3G switched off.

This is no MOBILE phone.

which is better in terms of battery life e71 or e66

The battery can last 12 hours only.. nowadays still got such lousy phone... i charge it 10pm and stand by until morning already 1 bar gone.. reach office at 9am another bar gone.. anwser few sec call another bar gone... play some game for 1 hour.. then at night 8pm battery flat

E66 battery life is very poor. About 40% worse than E51. I really don't know what Nokia engineers were thinking of... Of course it's not a multimedia phone but even used as a simple phone for calls only E66 battery will barely last 2,5 days.

Although i have incoming or outgoing calls from different areas of my contacts (mobile,office.home),
in the call list they all appear with the same sign
on the side(mobile sign).This is really bad because it
is important for my job to know exactly where do I
get the call from.

See what I mean? I know it is a lot of work...but I guess it´s the only way...

I like the looks of e66 than e71 but im bothered about the post regarding a bug in recording mode. Is it true on all e66 phones or one unlucky dude bought a defective phone?

Hi, can anyone advise if this syncs well with MS Outlook esp the Calendar and appointments?

There have been reviews of the short battery life. Can anyone explain how short? I generally use it to make calls and check my emails probably twice a day.

guys i'm facing something weird! i took pictures and i checked them out yesterday in the gallery, but today they disappeard!! i cant find them anywhere!! does anybody knows what can i do??

The White version doesnt look as good as the white colour on the E71.

The Grey Steel colour looks tons better on the E66.

Hi, can anyone advise if this phone will work with with MS Outlook esp syncing with the calendar?

Between this and E71, battery life seems to be lacking in this one. In your experience, how long does it take before one needs to recharge?
