sumit, 11 Nov 2010why there is no card slot...16gb internal...n no card slot..that ll going to b very less space... morewho said it does not have card slot, its have 16GB internal memory, and you can add 32GB!
Anonymous, 11 Nov 2010NO AUTOFOCUS?????? they are making fun of people that are going to acctualy buy this peace of ... more:)) lol,you made me laugh....'in that metal can'....but you're right.
i use a n97 mini, but it really shames against the Androids. Nokia, you really just need to make ONE good phone !!!
another gem and a mastterpiece by one of the most reliable compony its gr8 to have have a touch Eseries phone for the first time and ill hope it will do better then the previous Eseries phones
All the best E7
Anonymous, 11 Nov 2010NO AUTOFOCUS?????? they are making fun of people that are going to acctualy buy this peace of ... moreI have a fixed focus camera in my current Nokia and for what it's worth, the picture quality is pretty darn good. No macro capability but honestly, how often are you going to be taking up-close pictures of small things?
If u r interested in Document editor (Word, Excel, etc.) it is not available in E7, only Document Viewer. I will stick to my E72 as excel editing is very important for me.
milestone 2 or galaxy s will be better option.!!
Hunky007, 12 Nov 2010Don't know why Nokia is bent on producing failing products and then crib about Samsungs, Motos... moreforgot to mention one more thing. Till now MOTO DROID aka Milestone is slimmest QWERTY device on earth at 13.7 mm and E7 claims to pack the same in 13.6 mm which I doubt because pictures don't suggest this phone to be only 13.6 mm thick. More so, if actually it is then why no site/analyst/nokia itself claimed this to be the slimmest QWERTY phone in the universe.
Don't know why Nokia is bent on producing failing products and then crib about Samsungs, Motos taking it over. In times when RETINA resolution (640x960) is beocoming standard, it is coming out with 360x640 res screen lol. 8mp cam but why fixed focus (another shame),pretty heavy at 176 gm but may be sturdier however, Milestone is also study and of metal yet weighs under 140 gms. No card slot (may be to disguise slow processor of 600 mhz, 256 MB RAM (lol), flash lite 4.0 (ha ha ha, no divx/xvid support. And lastly 1200 mAH battery to support 4 inch screen.
God bless you Nokia
N8 would be a better choice over this E7. no matter if it is a business phone or whatever.. the charm of having a auto focus camera is something. you dont want a 24 mpix camera with fixed focus... rather have 2 mpix with autofocus. and you cant scan any documents for email with the fixed focus cam.
as far as the touch screen is concerned for emailing and sms .. check out the swype and you ll never use a harware keyboard. this is one of those many time nokia has failed to use common sense. god bless them. if android OS starts to give better battery backup...symbian would go for a toss.
so N8 is a clear winner here...over E7.
Anonymous, 11 Nov 2010pls tel me which is better? n8 or e7? n why?http://smartfonefan.com/2010/11/05/decisions-decisions-2-new-phones-from-nokia-and-i-just-cant-decide-on-the-nokia-n8-or-the-nokia-e7/
Problem: Cna't edit office documents
Whatever it is,i just LOVE this E7!!!....:)
best phone regarding its designs and fascilities. now for the price>>>> i shall be intensively waiting for this....
Argh. If it's just Android, it would've been perfect for me. :|
why there is no card slot...16gb internal...n no card slot..that ll going to b very less space in near future...
NOKIA...PLZ TAKE CARE OF IT...
NO AUTOFOCUS?????? they are making fun of people that are going to acctualy buy this peace of crap..was it so hard to put autofocus in that metal can??? SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ETC... ( so what if it's a buisness phone ???? the lower E series have autofocus ! )
This phone right here is gonna be my 1st touchscreen phone.
It's a business phone - exactly what I need. No touch keyboard - I get nothing much typed that way. Fabulous form factor. I have an HTC HD2 - great screen, great functionality but phone keeps dropping out all the time. I now need a phone from a phone company - not a computer company pretending to be a phone company. All the phones in my life were Nokia - they worked - I'm going back to this baby. Clear, bright screen - super hi res not is that important for Business nor is camera or music. Just show me my mail, messages, clearly, reliably - sync to my Outlook - reliably. Give me a tool I can make big bucks with - 101 apps of how to take your non-existent kid to the toilet around the world I don't need!
