Hmmm i might've rather wanted a card slot and autofocus included but even despite that it's seriously stylish and beautiful, has a super screen, and everything most people need from a phone and i would so buy it if it was available right now. But its not so i guess n97 or n97 mini will have to do.
I think 2 thinks needed in this awesome cell phone by nokia 01. fully document editer for office,02.Flashlight
& most important ofcourse dual sim with dual stand by . the question is can nokia do this ???
Yeah, Nokia is commited to commiting suicide by comming itself to Symbian on smartphones.
E7 is very good, but nokia mistake put a fixed focus not autofocus camera, and no memory card slot. it is suck...

TC, 30 Oct 2010Is Symbian 3 so slow that it can not handle a sd-card without becoming to slow? If you want so... moremy friend, first of all, this is not a DVD player. it is a phone and OMG u want to load it with movies..lets say 1 movie= 1 GB, so you want to put 16 movies!!!!!
Also, when u watched a movie u will delete it, or u will keepit and watch the same movie twice....
Matter of fact, the memory card will not slow the device by its mean, the reason is to enhance & reduce the lagging, hanging & freezing . i did see how the device gets lagged or hanged for sec when your set your contact & sms/mms to SD card.
Just check it for your self. Try to open SMS from your phone. if you are saving ur sms into SD card then u will notice a delay in opening them, but when opening then from phone storage..it is just super..
360 x 640 pixels, on a 4.0 inches screen, and I guess still no full qwerty in portrait??

If you want some movies on your phone then 16 gb is not enough, and having to bring an extra cable and an extra external usb-memory is not an option for many users. Nokia should let the user decide if he or she want to use a sd-card or not, just as the user should be able to choose if he or she wants to use a full qwerty in portrait.
Nokia never listens to users, or anyone else, they always do everything their own way.
Anonymous, 30 Oct 2010Fixed focus? No memory card support? lame~NOT a LAME...
Besides how many times i clarified in this forum the reason of no memory card & No auto focus.

Shirin, 29 Oct 2010Nokia N-series was meant for its multimedia capabilities (including top class cam specs). Nok... moreCseries is ment for people that want a smartphone or a feature phone on a budget! :) ... but Nseries & Eseries all the way!
nokia can top the market if it join hands with android and pushing back the symbian
this time nokia has launched something good but when is it coming to the market
this phone should really have a good MB RAM like
more than 1GB plus all the advanced features of nokia E-72
and not to forget good speakers then only it can survive the market .........!!!!
Hi guyz, pls can someone tell me in what aspect is N8 better than E7 apart from the camera??? I dont know which one to buy..thanks
Nokia N-series was meant for its multimedia capabilities (including top class cam specs).
Nokia E-series was meant for some serious business.
Nokia N97 and N900 was meant for sharing the world of both.
Nokia X-series was meant for music lovers.
Now this C-series confuses me the most. which category does it falls in ? what is the USP of this category ?

Azhar Mehmood, 28 Oct 2010Does it support SIP/VOiP Calls like e51, e61, e61i, e65, e71, e90. All the e-series model i me... moreSince the E7 hasn't been officially released yet we can't confirm whether the E7 will support VoiP natively or not.
BUT, considering the fact that almost any E device supports VoIP natively out of the box (and even the N8 supports VoIP/SIP after downloading and installing the SIP settings for Symbian3 from http://www.forum.nokia.com/Lib...ions.xhtml), chances are pretty good that the E7 devices will be shipping with a native VoIP/SIP client
