Why is it still using 640x360 resolution. Android is looking already at 1280×760. The 4" screen of E7 will be wasted with that low resolution.

Now imagine the thing with a proper processor (however maybe it has a good one) and Android.
I like the design, materials - used to own E71 - it was a superb phone.

I agree with you brynn on the lack of card slot and the fact that the iphone sucks. I don't understand how you can compare this to an iphone though. Can you people also stop comparing phones!!! It's called a Nokia not a Samsung or a HTC or an Apple or whatever! Seriousy. If you think a Samsung Galaxy S is a better phone...that's good for you.

Pretty peeved,i knew they would not bring out a communicater,,wheres the d-pad ,wheres the send/end keys,,wheres the bloody clamshell with s60 screen on outside..What do you do go buy another E90 cause its too slow nowadays.
Verdict-would every manufacturer get it into their heads they are NOT APPLE!!!! Stop trying to make the i-phone its been made, do your thing for crying out loud..That bloody i-phone has wrecked the market i hate the damn thing.

The E7 looks like a potential upgrade for my N97 (but then probably any device is). Compared to other devices, the one slight edge the E7 has over another manufacturer's devices is that I have a lot of stuff set up in the Ovi Suite (such as my favourites in Ovi Maps) and it would be a quicker transition. I simply love the QWERTY keypad on my N97 and there are very few other devices out there that has this feature. It's a big one for me.
The E7 is positioned as a business device. I think for business purposes, the lack of high-end specs is less of an issue. I use a Blackberry for work and all I care about is the business communications aspect of it, not the cool screen or UI.
As a personal device, I would have liked a higher resolution display. For the general consumer, a 360x640 display may be good enough in practice, but I think from a marketing point of view, the numbers look just so out of date. I think that for many people, with the many high end phones having a 480x800 or higher res display, the display specs for the E7 would be such a turn off.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-09-14 17:46 from tUr{ - click to readIndead, the samsung i9000, is so much better, in falling appart that is. cheap plastic garbage. But a decent suggestion, since you use the 4 inch screen, buy an ipad so that you can read the specs.
The only good thing about that samsung product is android, just like Nokia with Symbian, Samsung has that great opperating system, Oeps, no they don`t.
