Sumit, 01 Nov 2008Just bought this phone a few days ago after tons of research... views: 1) Camera sucks. It'... moreAlso, the speakerphone volume is definitely less than that of my earlier phone (E61i). Actually, if you have an E61i, you may not want to upgrade unless you need the GPS. Phone works very fast, though.
Just bought this phone a few days ago after tons of research... views:
1) Camera sucks. It's sharp, but pics are blue tinted.
2) Most importantly for me: the standby view uses large clunky fonts and so the information displayed about tasks and emails etc. is limited. This is NOT configurable.
3) No Access Point Groups.
Otherwise, it's a great phone.... GPS sometimes refuses to lock, but when it does, it's VERY accurate. Battery life is also very good - the first charge lasted more than 2 days, which is good considering I was trying EVERYTHING out.
Every thing is great on this phone...Feels good, and functions great except one thing. couldnt sync with computer. several units, many hours, support, Geek squad...no success. So in the end completely useless. getting a treo Pro.
very good phone. plannin to sale out my phone with nine month advance warranty can email me email@example.com
highly recommended phone for business professional
very good feel. keyboard is spaced very well. i love all of the application that coe with this unit. some are no good, but that whats to expect when a carrier does not pick thi phone up. Hign end users this phone is for you. When the E90 is too much phone this is the right pick.

Jason, 30 Oct 2008Hey guys... Im interested in getting the E71 or N78... any advice on which one is better. Thanks.i my opinion u should go for n78 if u r student and if not then u go for e71
E71 is truly a satisfying experience. For the time Ihave come across a mobile phone that has an outstanding experience even in the most unasured environment. It is a gift from NOKIA company that customers must grasp before it disappear from the market. E71 is truly a business machine despite its disappointing small key boards plus poor lightening of the key board.
I would not hesitate to recommend it to busy and up to date business minded persons. Thank you NOKIA
can any tell me if microsoft excel file can be edited in this phone??
I dont have any excuse for it. b'coz it's totaly a business mobile that's why i dont have . n it's too costly but if you want some informations for E71 then go on NOKIA offcieal site www.nokia.com/india please don't forget this thing ....! it's usefull for you..!
n if you wanna ask some more Q. then send me your Q. on my ID . My id is email@example.com .. ! I hope you'll send me some Q. as soon as..! :)
This is a very cool & well designed mobile device but...
Nokia doesn’t care about its business users too much!
I’ve always been a Nokia user, but one of the one biggest business related holes which I’ve noticed in Nokia S60 devices is their VPN implementation.
Power / Business users need proper VPN, even the crappy version 1 iPhone can do basic PPTP connections. Nokia can only do the horrible and expensive to implement ‘IPsec’ (Who uses that?). Good luck finding affordable IPsec VPN providers for home use.
Eseries has been out for years, why isn’t Nokia covering PPTP and Open SSL/OpenVPN? It’s just software isn’t it?
This means a lot to those who live in countries like United Arab Emirates, China, & Saudi Arabia where most of the cool sites/services like Last.FM, Flickr, All SIP services, Skype etc, have been blocked for years. This lack of proper VPN support hurts us financially, as much I like Nokia, they really suck at implementing proper VPN.
This lack of proper VPN support hurts us financially, Nokia enough of this! If someone here is in direct touch with Nokia, please pass this message on…
