Marwan, 21 Jun 2008The N78 and the E71 are completely different, no comparison should ever be made between the tw... morei know they shouldn't be compared BUT they do have almost exactly the same specs and it's just that e71 is thinner, has ha qwerty keyboard but an n78 is more beautiful i think. they do have the same specs!
but tnx for your feedback!
the nokia e71 was hyped for the past few months and now it was finally announced i couldn't get any excited. the specs are just like that of the e90 and im sure that this will be more practical to have bec of its size and design. design-wise, e-series really stands out from the crowd. imagine having the e71 side by side with samsung's i-series, moto's q series and ericsson's p-series. nokia e71 just crushes all its competitor in the design department. also, the screen is just fine as other manufacturers have only 2.4 in their qwerty devices (moto q?) the memory is big, the camera is good, the keys are fine what could possibly go wrong? if the screen bothers you a lot, think again. the qvga resolution looks much better in a smaller screen. also if you are looking for internet based solutions, then try the n-series esp n95, 95 8gb or n96. big screen, 3g and wifi in there. eseries for business and emails thats it. i cant imagine a business person surfing the web while the meeting is going on or if he does really have spare time to do so. to sum it up, i think the e71 is just ryt. nokia wont be releasing it hadn't they designed it well in all aspects possible. i am just confused on what color to get white or black? both looks stunning but they say the white one's kind of a dissappointment in real life. i am also considering in getting the e66 as the perfect partner for this one. this tym around, ill get the whit e66 as its so sexy.
perfect trio. =)
everyone talking about the Cam!
damn ass, its a phone, not a Camera!
i dont think you know how to use
a proper digital camera with your wisdom andthats why you need a cam on your phone
i get it!
The N78 and the E71 are completely different, no comparison should ever be made between the two.
The E71 is what you have already known about through the comments on this page, an emailing guru.
The N78, is a multimedia phone, that offers superb sound quality, extended playback hours (24 hours) in Offline mode, a 3.5mm audio jack support, up to 8GB of external storage for thousands of tracks, an FM Transmitter : ), what a smart idea that was, to put in a phone. I love it, just today, a friend of mine had a song that I loved as a ringtone, so.. Recieve Via Bluetooth, play it, and transmit it via FM frequency, and listen to it on your top-notch in-car sound system. : )
You can also have a party on-the-go, providing that you have Wi-Fi, it goes like this, connect to internet through wi-fi (cheaper than EGPRS or 3G), check out your favourite Internet Radio channels, search for one that is currently airing a live mix for say, Armin Van Buuren : ), buffer it and listen to it, then turn on the FM transmitter on your phone... And well, you can imagine the rest....
N-gage for games, GPS for navigation, and the new symbian interface, which I cant stress enough on how much of a treat it really is, you just gotta try it out if you havent already : )
This is what i was waiting quite long from nokia E61i
now i have it all and more. it become shorter. superb
Realy gonna buy
even for 400-500euro
Yes and FM Radio :), something that I wished to have on my E61i, for those occasional dull moments.
I am using Nokia's E61i, which is indeed a delight to use, since I am a heavy email user, It's ideal in all internet aspects, pushing the envelope of what a mobile device is capable of doing "conveniently"
The layout and the size and the specs were perfect for me, only topped by the E90, which even though superior was just abit too big for me, since I need to be able send emails/messages without strictly having to use both hands.
This new E71 is definitely my next mobile phone, since what the E61i is now incapable of, in terms of web-content support, more reliable downloading, and more effecient WLAN connectivity, the E71 could handle with ease, providing the massive specs this mobile has.
More internal memory, perfect for viewing big web-pages, or handling bigger downloads, and attachments. I suspect the built would be just as solid as that of my E61i, and well, Its looks a load better. "Loving the metal details and textures on this baby"
The New Symbian OS 9.3 seems to be a treat, I already used it on the N78, and its simply sensational.
A camera upgrade, even though not required, but definitely a good thing.
Cant wait until it hits the shelves.
this OS doesn't seems look like Symbian!!!, which OS is mobile? and the version?
Very stylish & Sleek Phone. This will rock. When is it expected in India?
