oh calm yourself. it is important to discuss a phone in perspective of it's main competition.
Though I definitely favor the E72 as an all around superior device I do not discredit the Bold 9700. It's a fantastic phone that leaves very little gap between the 2 products. The wi-fi stability needs a touch and I am surprised they did not update the 3G and Camera features to compete better - but that aside it is a solid feature-set.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-15 13:50 from p7AaFor Godsake will people stop talking about blackberries here? This is a place where people who uses e72 to express what they think about the phone! WILL Y'ALL STOP TALKING ABOUT DAMN BLACKBERRY? Go to the BB page and blabber all you want there. Just give us REVIEWS of e72. And btw, Anonymous, obviously Nokia came out first, and Blackberry's the one challenging Nokia. And BB will be outdated if its features are still going to the same. And for that, JUST SHUT UP

I am excited for release here in Canada. Despite the endless banter about this phone the facts are clear .. this is the flagship business phone to have.
Solid build which it inherits from the modern E class and the E-71 and now with even more metal parts. This takes everything good about the E-71 and makes it even better keeping things up to date.
The number 1 competitor here and spec-wise is the BB Bold 9700 which has great features such as BB messenger and the awesome BB OS .. however the E72 does outspec with an unquestionably better build, proven OS, solid feature-pack with fast 3 and a 5mp shooter to boot.

Hi all, to those lucky few who have the Nokia "Shiny Bullet" E72, my queries are as follows;
Can you confirm no accerolometer? I am not too bothered as I prefer Panoramic views anyway (which we get on TVs, PC monitors, laptops etc). This is why I love this phone.
Is charging only USB or can we choice between USB and a normal charger socket? What charger socket is supplied?
I am considering getting a 16 GIG Memory card? Will the phone take that? Do any of you have a 32 GIG SD card installed which works perfectly?
According to a new owner, the screen is not glass like the E71 but toughened plastic. Is this true?
Is the phone plastic as I have heard or completely metal like the E71?
How many games come with this phone and what games are they? I know I can download numerous from various websites but I am just curious.
For those game players, does the back or phone unit heat up when you play games for over an hour? This heaing occurs on my Nokia 5800 which I trade in for the Nokia E72.
It is NOW available in the UK from the UK Nokia website and the Nokia Store in Regents Street, West End London. Surely it now available in every part of the world apart from North America who always get phones last for some odd reason. I suppose those guys can buy online from Amazon, ebay, play (dot) com etc.
I think I prefer Silver or Black. Topaz doesn't look nice in my opinion. Maybe in the flesh, Topaz would look stunning. To be fair, I would take whatever colour my people give to me.
I'll purchase this in December and keep it for at least a year

I bought this phone yesterday and believe me it is excellent in all aspects sound, colours, apps, Arabic language on keyboard, everything. It comes with free lifetime walk navigation only. I recommend the E72 to everyone who is thinking to buy all-in-one business phone.
